Corrected entry: If the movie Air Force One can be a guide, it was impossible for Mitch Anderson to shoot down the president's plane this easily. Air Force One has countermeasures to elude missiles targeting it and this is now shown in the show. Also, once the President found out about the imminent attack on Air Force One he would have been escorted to his escape pod.
Correction: The movie Air Force One is not a good guide. It has been stated many times that the plane does not have an escape pod in real life.

Correction: Since neither Episode 2 or 3 covers the entire life of Bail during the Clone Wars, we cannot know if he actually fought or not. On top of this, Leia actually said "Served my father in the Clone Wars" not "Fought".
