Coach Carter (2005)

Corrected entry: Someone at the dance is wearing an Indiana Pacers jersey with Ron Artest's name on the back. Artest did not play for the Pacers until 2001.

Correction: It's nowhere said that the story takes place in 1999 - the real story did, the one in the movie not (e.g. Carter became coach in 1997). It's just an abstract of his story as coach.

Coach Carter (2005)

Corrected entry: At the start of the movie, Ty Crane wonders how it feels to be "the next LeBron James". At the time, the future Cleveland Cavaliers star was an anonymous middle schooler living in a small town in Ohio, and there's no way a Californian high schooler would call himself "the next LeBron James".

Correction: It's nowhere said that the story takes place in 1999 - the real story did, the one in the movie not (e.g. Carter became coach in 1997). It's just an abstract of his story as coach and as stated at the beginning of the movie "Inspired by the life of Ken Carter".

Blue Streak (1999)

Corrected entry: When he is going through the construction site's vent system after he steals the diamond, he is crawling head first and then he falls down the chute feet first...

Correction: He could easily crawl back to the last junction (T shaped) and then crawl feet first back in to let himself drop down feet forward (he isn't stupid).

Blue Streak (1999)

Corrected entry: The guy in the grocery store and the crane operator who lifts the truck in the end is the same, even the clothes he is wearing are the same.

Correction: No. The guy who operates the crane is Native American and wears a black vest. In the grocery store nobody looks like him or is dressed like him.

Blue Streak (1999)

Corrected entry: When Martin Lawrence walks in the store to get asprin when Luke Wilson is taking care of the call they received, they show a man looking at things in the store. When Dave Chapelle holds up the store, the man disappears.

Correction: You can see how the man moves from his corridor (towards the desk) - there is quite a bit of time between seeing the guy and the robbery, the guy could easily left the store without buying anything.

Basic (2003)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie it is revealed that Section 8 knew about the Colonel, Kendall, Mueller and the doctor and pretty much everything about the drug operation. Why then did they need this elaborate plan to pretend that West was shot? Who did they really flush out if they knew all the parties involved? In the end all the parties involved except the doctor were killed. If they wanted to do this they could have just killed them. Dunbar already knew where the drugs were so that was not in question. Plus because Dunbar runs off with Travolta, this would likely spark a massive investigation.

Correction: In the end they knew it all, but not at the beginning. It was like a puzzle and they had to figure out. They had to "tell" this story to check if anybody else was involved (West calls it "who is working for who operation"). West constructed a perfect opportunity for Kendall and Mueller to kill him: they would kill him in the jungle without witnesses and let the body disappear. That way he made sure they didn't try to kill him somehow on or off the base (where he wouldn't know when and how) and he had total control over them. Mueller was shot by Dunbar/Pike in the jungle in self-defense. When the Colonel offered Hardy a part of the money and told him many thinks about the drug operation, he revealed that he was the head of the drug deals (they knew he was involved, but didn't know how deep until this point). The death of the Colonel was rather an "accident" because Osborne was near the office, heard it all and saved Hardy when the Colonel wanted to shoot him (the death of the colonel was not planed). Kendall was killed by the doctor because he was a witness and might testify against him and/or the Colonel. Since Dunbar/Pike running of with Hardy is only seen by Osborne, there will be no investigation about this event (officially Dunbar/Pike either flees from the base or is unofficially released by his superiors).

Corrected entry: Just after the truck chase with Markus, and the sunlight is creeping over the hills, Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman crash the truck through the wall of a garage. As the sun is still shining into the garage, which would kill Beckinsale's vampire, Speedman covers all the windows with black paint. When he is done, the garage goes completely black. Does no sunlight shine through the big hole they made in the wall when they crashed through the garage? Came from a cinema viewing.

Correction: There is still plenty of light inside the garage, it is not gone completely black. He only covers the windows to make it a safe passage to the container because direct sunlight is the "problem" for vampires. Inside the container there is no light (there is indirect light when the door is open) until Selene uses the light stick. She is safe from direct sunlight and they don't have to worry how the sunlight will shine into the garage.

Bjoern_Buller

Corrected entry: After Selene hands starts burning in the big truck when they drive through the wall they hit a smaller car if you look there was no damage done, but when they are leaving in the different smaller car it has a dent in it.

Correction: The dent is in the middle of the front fender, but when the car is seen directly after the crash the front fender can't be seen completely, only to the beginning of the wheel arch because a barrel obstructs the view. That is why you think there is no dent.

Bjoern_Buller

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie when Andy and Trish have decided to wait 20 dates to have sex, You see the calendar on his fridge showing the dates they've had. The calendar is very strange in that it only has 6 days in each week, and thus has 6 weeks in that month. There are numbers on every day of the calendar, so its not that the calendar combine weekends into one box or anything.

Correction: The calendar is a customized, self-printed calendar (could be done with Excel) which only purpose is to track the dates. The real weeks, weekdays and weekends are not important for this.

The Transporter (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the transporter opens the bag in the trunk to give the girl some juice, he cuts a small slit on the tape covering her mouth, throughout parts of the film when the girl has her mouth taped the slit appears and disappears. (00:19:35)

Correction: After he delievers the girl, they exchange her tape with a new one. When Frank takes Lai and her chair home, he had to drive the complete 250 km (4-5 hours) back. He surely made a stop to get refreshments and had to cut the tape again.

The Transporter (2002)

Corrected entry: During the initial chase scene when Frank jumps his BMW over the narrow bridge onto the transport, the number of cars changes on the transport from three cars when it is going under the bridge, to two cars when Frank attempts the jump. (00:08:00)

Reservoir Dog

Correction: There are three cars on the truck the whole time (car, space (then BMW), car, car). If you watch the jump-sequenze in slow motion you can see the tip of the third car's hood. When he later releases the cars to block the police, he releases the two cars behind him.

The Transporter (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the transporter and the girl are attacked at the beach house they both fall into a cistern. In the next scene we see both characters utilizing scuba gears (conveniently hidden underwater) complete with fins. A few minutes later after they had reached the ground, the girl is wearing her shoes again. How did she manage to hold onto them? (00:48:00 - 00:49:45)

Correction: We do not see the shoes on, she wears the fins the entire time.

The Transporter (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Lai downloads Wall Street's information off the policeman's computer, the very last button she hits on the keyboard says "sleep". Later on, the policeman hits the button "wake up". However, if the film is set in France, why are the commands on the keyboard written in English? (00:53:35 - 00:56:20)

Correction: "Sleep" and "Wake up" are used all over the world on keyboards, including countries like Germany have the same thing. However if you take a closer look when he presses "Wake up" you can see a "Verr Num" key, which is the number lock key on a french keyboard.

Angel (1999)

Correction: The knife falls to the right side of his right foot. In the long distance shot this side can't be seen, only the left side of the foot. So the foot blocks the sight.

Showtime (2002)

Corrected entry: When Eddie Murphy is showing off the Corvette to Robert De Niro in the parking area, he slides across the hood. De Niro points out that his holster scratched the hood. But Murphy slides on his right hip while his holster is on his left hip.

Correction: The holster is on the right hip. You can see it many times later, especially when they came into the department and see their new workspace and when Eddie Murphy says "Showtime" in the new work space the first time.

Spaceballs (1987)

Corrected entry: When Lone Starr and Barf leave the ship after it lands to rescue the princess in Spaceball city, the door to the ship is left open. Upon their return to the ship with the princess, the door is closed and then blasted locked. (00:59:15)

Correction: The guards they knocked out are left in the ship. Later on they run into these guards inside the prison complex. The guards left the ship, closed it and locked it. So they wanted to prevent a fast get away of Lone Starr & Co.

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the big cage fight, Jet Li kicks a guy lying on the fallen side of the cage. Trouble is, the man starts lifting up before Jet's kick actually connects.

Jon Sandys

Correction: Yes, the guy lifts up, but only because the side of the cage is something of the kind of a trampoline-effect. The guy just drops, hits the "ground" and lifts of by the trampoline-effect. So he kicks him right when he is in the air.

Bjoern_Buller

Corrected entry: When beaming the Defiant survivors aboard the Enterprise, shields were still activated. Since when can they beam through activated shields? (00:10:00)

Correction: Timing is everything! They could just let the shields down to beam and raise them immediately. Also they don't have to deactivate all the shields, only the one at the side where the Defiant is.

Bjoern_Buller

Corrected entry: In the scene near the end of the movie where the crew is celebrating in the San Francisco Bay after the probe has left, Spock appears to be smiling and laughing as everyone frolicks in the water. Doesn't this go against his Vulcan suppression of emotions, which historically only came out when something was wrong with him?

Correction: Spock is half human, half vulcan. Maybe his human half reacts in that moment very strongly and he can't hold his emotions.

Bjoern_Buller

Corrected entry: When Kirk is making the emergency call to starfleet the stars outside the window are moving by as if the ship were at impulse speed. Why are the stars moving so slow if they are supposed to be at maximum warp towards the great barrier?

Correction: Sometimes the ships have to slow down (ion-storms, black hole etc.) to pass them safely. Maybe they just have passed or are heading toward something like that.
