Peter Pan (1953)

Deliberate mistake: When the kids are in the crow's nest fighting the pirates, dozens of stones and arrows fly out of nowhere, despite the kids just having a handful. Check for the kid with the blowpipe: He manages to blow dozens of rocks out of nowhere. There's even a shot where arrows and stones are flying from all over the place despite the fact that a shot later the kids are crouching.

Cinderella (1950)

Deliberate mistake: The first time we see the King, the bookends and books are sketchy drawings that bear no relation to the fully detailed ones that we see afterwards.

Darkman (1990)

Deliberate mistake: When the movie begins, Durant's men are frisked by Eddie's, one of whom was tossing his nunchucku seconds before. Angle cuts to Durant's men's weapons falling on the floor, the nunchucku among them. This adds up for tension as to show how heavily armed and dangerous Durant is, but is absurd that Eddie's goon disposes of his own weapon in such a dangerous situation.

Deliberate mistake: When Marty drives towards the screen to go back to 1885, he passes by the same 5 speakers over and over again. It's obvious that the road was very short and they repeated the shots from many different angles to add-up for tension.

Superman (1978)

Deliberate mistake: At Lois' penthouse, before Superman says goodbye, the image is sharp and clear. Cuts to a close-up, and then check the next wide angle where he says goodnight and flies away: It's blurry and grainy because it's not live, but a screen with a previously shot scene to allow for the camera to turn left and, in a matter of seconds, no cuts at all, show Superman magically and quickly transformed into Clark Kent.

The Party (1968)

Deliberate mistake: Hrundi steps out to the garden and the sprinkler system turns on. Problem is, the grass is a blatantly fake rug with wrinkles everywhere. The sprinklers are therefore useless, and only used for comic purposes.

Commando (1985)

Deliberate mistake: When Matrix arrives to the beach and arms himself up, a cloud of smoke appears out of nowhere. This results in a more dramatic shot, but it's totally senseless. (01:07:35)

1941 (1979)

Deliberate mistake: When Betty falls in the traphole, Maxine is right behind her, yet when the angle changes she's not only in front, but has turned 180ยบ. This allows for a funnier gag, but is still a mistake.

1941 (1979)

Deliberate mistake: Though the loose ferris wheel keeps rolling for over a mile, the guys seated on it remain in the same position all the time instead of rolling down and getting crushed by it. Furthermore, they disappear in the wide shots and the wheel appears empty.

1941 (1979)

Deliberate mistake: A piece of food lands on a soldier's soap and splashes on him. When the angle rises his glasses are covered in soup. The lenses are very obviously painted, for the splash was way to small to produce such mess.

My Fair Lady (1964)

Deliberate mistake: When Eliza is about to be bathed, the mirror keeps turning around between shots to avoid reflecting the filming crew.

Deliberate mistake: Before Dorothy is sent to Kansas there's a close-up of her shoes. All of the group's feet, Glinda's dress, and the rest of the elements around are gone and replaced by a black background. Despite being a deliberate directorial decision to give the shoes a more dramatic focus, it is really awkward to see everything disappear, nevertheless.

Iron Man 2 (2010)

Deliberate mistake: The whole Monaco race sequence is totally (but deliberately) ludicrous. First no driver would be allowed without a fireproof mask and rest of required security measures, as Stark does. Second, the real-life security controls are very strict: When an accident occurs a safety car shows up, flags and audio advices signal the racing cars for them to lower their speed and avoid accidents. Nothing to do with the wild, uncontrolled race depicted here.

Deliberate mistake: The music in the 50s wasn't, by far, the Shakira pop and hiphop style that the people dance to in the movie.

Deception (2008)

Deliberate mistake: Wyatt is killed in a park next to El Prado museum (which can be seen in the background). Then S and McQuarry cross the street and appear next to where the bank was. This speeds the pace of the movie, but truth is that the building of the bank and El Prado are 20 minutes walking distance away from each other.

Deliberate mistake: It is totally unlikely that a museum as careful and important as the Smithsonian would leave the crates un-nailed, which could make the pieces inside get damaged. Of course if the crates weren't open, none of the figures could come up to life.

Tail Sting (2001)

Deliberate mistake: When the captain jumps towards Scott, the distance between the two rows of seats is three times bigger than the other rows shown, obviously to allow for the fight, but still really weird when you look at it.

Deliberate mistake: When John crashes the car against the elevator room, the cables he and the woman hold on to are clean, when they should be greasy - thus allowing for them to hold safely.
