Trivia: With the exception of season 1 every season finale starts with the song "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas. In season 1 the song was used in the second to last episode which was part one of a two part finale.

Trivia: In Epitaph II: The Return, Alpha asks Tony, "Why would someone do something so horrible to that face?" He was speaking about the tech on Tony's face, but it was also a reference to season 1 when Alpha sliced up Tony's face with a knife.

Trivia: The address of the meeting of the anti-V group that Erica and Father Landry go to is 4400 Pier Ave. Joel Gretsch used to star in the show 4400 where the characters were initially thought to be abducted by aliens.

Trivia: In 'After School Special' Dean says the the regular gym teacher is getting married in Massachusetts. This is a reference to how female gym teachers are thought to be gay. At the time of the airing of this episode Massachusetts was the only state in the U.S. that allowed gay marriage.

Trivia: When the Doctor puts on the gas mask and looks at the soldier who already has his mask on, he asks, "Are you my mummy?" This was a reference to the episode "The Empty Child", where infected people wearing gas masks constantly say "Are you my mummy?"

Trivia: Before Dollhouse, Olivia Williams had a bit part as Moira McTaggert in X-men 3. She was showing a patient who had no conscience. Xavier then brought up the ethics of placing the conscience of one person into another which is what Ms. Williams does now as Ms. Dewitt in Dollhouse.

Trivia: When the gang is trying to figure out how Illyria got by them, Gunn says "Yeah, like she was pulling a Barry Allen. Jay Garrick? Wally... Like she was moving really fast." No one knew who he was talking about. All three name are different incarnations of The Flash.

Trivia: In the flashback just before Darla kills Liam in order to turn him to Angel, she tells him to "Close your eyes." In "Becoming Pt. 2", just before Buffy kills Angel, she too says, "Close your eyes".

Not Fade Away - S5-E22

Trivia: When the gang are in Spike's apartment where Angel is assigning them to go after members of the Circle of the Black Thorn, Spike says "First off, I'm not wearing any amulets. No bracelets, broaches, beads, pendants, pins, or rings. " This is a reference to how Spike dies in the series finale of Buffy by wearing an amulet to destroy the Hellmouth.

Trivia: In the episode "Renewal," Logan talks about a dream where his old partner , Lenny, comes to him and says he's not dead. But when he wakes up he realizes that Lenny is dead. Lenny was Logan's partner on the original "Law and Order" series in the mid 1990s. The actor who played Lenny (Jerry Orbach) quit the series in 2003, but died of cancer a year later.

Graduation Day (2) - S3-E22

Trivia: Joss Whedon is known for giving hints for future events. In Graduation Day Part 2 while Buffy is in a coma dream she speaks to Faith. Faith says "Oh yeah. - Miles to go - Little Ms. Muffet counting down from 7-3-0." 730 means 730 days (2 years). If you recall the poem that states miles to go before I sleep. In 730 days Buffy will die in the finale of season 5.
