Continuity mistake: A box was put on a hand truck. The next shot shows Mr. Winters putting a very large box on the hand truck. The first box had mysteriously disappeared.

Continuity mistake: During a discussion between Lucy and Amy about a half hour into the movie the hair on Lucy's forehead alternates between two different positions several times.

Continuity mistake: When Terry and Emily? are having a discussion (at a window) there is a boom-box or other piece of electronic equipment to the right of the window. In subsequent shots during the conversation the equipment has mysteriously disappeared. Also, the on-air light at the radio station is continuously lit. The on-air light indicates a live microphone and should be "off" when the microphone is off. You would think those in the entertainment industry would know this.

Continuity mistake: Mr. Krank's coat was totally drenched by a car going through a puddle and it was completely wet. Subsequently, in the same scene, the coat was only partially wet, having quite a bit of dry area.

Continuity mistake: This movie has a major problem with snow continuity throughout. Near the beginning of the movie, Drew and Tom are talking outside with the snow falling. None of it sticks to Drew's parka or to Tom. When Drew enters the home he is covered with snow. Later, when Drew is talking outside again he is covered with snow but not one additional flake lands on him (or the person he is talking to) and sticks. Also, Drew trips on the tree and other items nearby, making a big mess but in the next scene with the tree it looks like nothing ever happened.

Continuity mistake: The movie is a documentary about a road trip from Seattle to Santa Barbara in chronological and geographical order. After passing Santa Cruz they were suddenly in Garberville and then Hopland, both north of San Francisco. They then resumed their trip south of Santa Cruz.

Continuity mistake: In a party scene about 45 minutes into the movie there are numerous shots of the crowd. Over a several minute period one character was shown in at least four shots while smoking a cigarette in a cigarette holder. In all shots the partially smoked cigarette is the exact same length. Either they kept using the same clip or the cigarette was not lit.

Continuity mistake: The airbag on the patrol car deployed when the little car struck it from the side. It deployed a second time a few minutes later when the patrol car crashed into something else.

Continuity mistake: When Jesse and Celine are walking along, there is a man in a red shirt who is just getting ready to pass them (with the camera shot looking from their backs). The scene shifts to a frontal shot, but the man in the red shirt does not pass immediately as he should have. There is too long of a time gap before he finally appears in the shot and passes Jesse and Celine.

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Ray and Hilda are having a conversation, Ray's white undershirt alternates between being seen and being hidden under his shirt (on his shoulder).

Continuity mistake: Lila is injured in an accident and has multiple scars on her face. The scars change at various times. At one point in the middle of the movie only one scar is left but in the next scene she is back to multiple scars which remain for the rest of the movie.
