KINGOFNY

Corrected entry: When the little boy is sleeping and he gets awakened by the strong wind, his toy monkey turns on, and then his toy record player turns on and then his remote control cars turn on. If his house was hit by an electromagnetic disturbance, wouldn't ALL of his electronic toys turn on at once, instead of one toy turning on right after another?

KINGOFNY

Correction: Since the phenomenon is never explained, it can happen any way the filmmakers decide. And it's consistent throughout the movie - Roy in the car: flashlight, car and radio don't turn off/on at once; Jillian and Barry in the house: lights, vacuum, mixer, stove don't all operate at once.

Broken Arrow (1996)

Corrected entry: In the final fight scene in the train, Christian Slater knocks Travolta down and grabs the remote control. Travolta told him beforehand that he can press one button to detonate the bomb and the other button to disarm. You can hear Slater pressing a button two or three times and nothing happens. But when he gets the remote again in the end, he presses it once and it disarms the bomb.

KINGOFNY

Correction: Travolta lied about the functions of the buttons on the remote. When Slater figured that out, he knew he had to press the other button to disarm the bomb.

A Bronx Tale (1993)

Corrected entry: Right before Sonny shoots the guy in front of C, the guy hits Joe Pesci's windshield with a bat. The windshield doesn't shatter or break open or anything, it just cracks, but you see Joe Pesci come out of the car holding his head in pain as if he was hit with the bat. He would have had to have his head pressing against the windshield in order to be affected at all by the impact from the bat, which he didn't.

KINGOFNY

Correction: He HAD just been in a head-on collision. It is not unlikely, if he didn't wear a seatbelt, that his head flew forward and into the steering wheel or windshield. As such, his pain comes from the collision, not the bat hitting the car.

Twotall

Correction: The cars never hit. This was definitely a blooper.

Swordfish (2001)

Corrected entry: Towards the end, right after Travolta shoots Halle Berry in the bank, Travolta's guys start moving the hostages. Look at the hostages' faces. Not one of them looks scared or worried or anything. They have just seen Travolta "kill" Halle Berry, have seen the blonde woman get blown up, and have 20lbs of C4 strapped to their bodies and are surrounded by men with guns, and yet not even the women are crying or scared or anything.

KINGOFNY

Correction: After the scene they just witnessed, it's possible that the hostages are in shock that they can't express any facial emotion.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Leatherface is chasing the blonde guy through the yard, through all the sheets, he cuts his leg off with the chainsaw. Seconds later, he's carrying the blonde guy on his shoulders and into the house. Watch as he's walking down the hallway, not a single drop of blood drips from the severed leg onto the floor. Several arteries and many veins run through the leg and not a single drop of blood? Blood should be gushing or at least dripping a lot from the stub that's left of the leg.

KINGOFNY

Correction: Blood won't necessarily gush from an amputation. It's called a traumatic amputation which causes vasospasm which constricts all vessels, thus no blood flow.

Donnie Brasco (1997)

Corrected entry: In the first scene, where Sonny Black and his crew are at a bar sitting around a table, they're arguing about cars. Lefty repeats that one car has more power than the other. When he repeats that, Paulie says "You just said that". The problem is Paulie began to say that right before Lefty finished saying that the car had more power. In this context, Paulie would need enough time to hear what Lefty said, register it in his brain and then respond. This shows that "Paulie" jumped the gun and began his line too early to be believable.

KINGOFNY

Correction: The human brain can process a simple piece of information like a repeated statement virtually instantaneously. There would be no pause at all. And as soon as Lefty starts saying the same thing, it is very possible, if not probable, that Paulie knew what he was going to say. Perhaps they have had this conversation before and Lefty ALWAYS says this. Paulie would not need to hear the end of the sentence. This is in no way a mistake.

Donnie Brasco (1997)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sonny Black's crew is about to carve up Sonny Red's crew, Nicky grabs Donnie by the arm to help him cut up the fat guy. As he's walking towards the fat guy's body, Nicky says "Help me fillet this fat f**k". Right there he looks directly at the camera and then looks away quickly.

KINGOFNY

Correction: The character just happened to look at the same direction in which the scene is being filmed. He didn't acknowledge the camera in any way.

The Mummy (1999)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Jonathan has read the commands from the golden book and stops the zombies with the shields from killing O'Connell, the zombies then turn towards Imhotep. He orders them to kill O'Connell. The subtitles say "Destroy him." twice, and then the third time the subtitle says "I command you to destroy him", but Imhotep verbally says the same exact command all three times. (01:48:40)

KINGOFNY

Correction: The third time he says it, he puts more emphasis on some of the words. This could translate to making the command more urgent.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the couple is arguing in their home about seeing a movie, there is a boy in the crib trying to break a doll or something. That kid looks at least 4 years old. Isn't a 4 year old a little old to be in a crib? And you can easily tell that the kid would not be able to lay down completely in the crib even if he tried.

KINGOFNY

Correction: That is the little girl's crib, not the boys. He climbed into the crib by himself to be a pest. If you look after Richard Dreyfus yells at 'Toby' he stops breaking the doll and climbs out of the crib by himself.
