Question: Did anyone else see the reflection of an alien's face in the window of the pickup truck as Dreyfus puts up a map against the window right before all the electrical stuff goes out in the car?

KINGOFNY

Chosen answer: I own the original (not special edition) DVD and I can always freeze the film and point out to people where the alien is and they see it too, but I can never see it when it's on TV or on my friends VHS copy, maybe it's just a 'gift' for the DVD owners?

Snake Eyes (1998)

Continuity mistake: When the girl, the Navy guy and the fat guy are in the elevator going up, Nicholas Cage tells the guy watching the video surveillance camera to see what floor they pressed in the elevator. The video guy responds that he can't see what buttons they pressed because the buttons are too small. But when they show the monitor which shows what the elevator camera sees, you see the back of the elevator, not the front where the buttons are. Same when they show the inside of the elevator, and show the camera, the camera is angled from the front to the back of the elevator making it impossible to see the buttons which are on the front of the elevator by the door.

Snake Eyes (1998)

Continuity mistake: After Nicholas Cage spits blood on Gary Sinise's ribbons, you can see that the ribbons got soaked with blood. But a few minutes later, when Sinise is tracking Cage by using the GPS, his ribbons are clean. The white parts of his ribbons are white as snow. Sinise did try to wipe the blood off his ribbons but he could not have wiped off all of the blood stains because the ribbons are made of cloth.

The Score (2001)

Factual error: When DeNiro scouts out the building by going inside, Ed Norton guides him via a handheld two way radio. Having been a Marine for 5 years and working with various high power communications gear, I have never seen or heard of a handheld two way radio that can talk to another radio that is underground and quite a distance away. Both of the radios were portable meaning they had small batteries powering them, not a powerful power supply. Handheld radios work on the UHF spectrum, which is line-of-sight. It is impossible for a UHF signal to reach a receiver by going through numerous walls and metal piping. Ever lose your signal on your cell phone when inside a building or tunnel? Same concept.

Continuity mistake: In the scene close to the end where the girl steals the sheriff's car and runs him over, you see him impacting the windshield and blood splattering on the windshield. After she hits him, she drives forward, stops, then reverses over him and right before she drives over him again, you see the windshield wipers wipe a whole bunch of untouched blood off of the windshield. The wipers had been on the whole time, they would have wiped most if not all of the blood of by then.

Broken Arrow (1996)

Factual error: When Travolta is deep down in the mine shaft, he uses a two-way radio to talk to his guys upstairs. I know from personal experience, and from being in the military that two-way radios, no matter how much power output they put out, cannot talk for more than 100 feet max in an enclosed area such a mine with thick walls, let alone 2,000 ft (the distance the elevator travels in the mine).

Carlito's Way (1993)

Revealing mistake: In the last scene of the movie after Carlito gets shot by Benny Blanco and Carlito's friend says "Let's get out of here", Benny Blanco turns and shoots him too. Right before he shoots him though, you can see Carlito's friend's eyes close and put on a facial expression as if bracing for the shot.
