Revealing mistake: When Viggo pushes the car off the edge and it hits the ground, as it rolls you can see that the engine/transmission, drive shift and tank have been removed. (01:26:00)

Directed by: David Leitch, Chad Stahelski
Starring: Keanu Reeves, Willem Dafoe, Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen

Revealing mistake: When Viggo pushes the car off the edge and it hits the ground, as it rolls you can see that the engine/transmission, drive shift and tank have been removed. (01:26:00)
Continuity mistake: When John first meets Marcus in the cemetery, John's umbrella changes from a standard 8 rib when lowering the coffin, then a 22 rib close up, then back to 8 ribs in a far shot of the two men shaking hands. (00:04:15 - 00:05:45)
Other mistake: When we see John's wife collapse in front of the bride, just as the camera cuts out of this little cut scene, the camera wobbles very noticeably. Almost as if someone had knocked it. (00:02:25)
Trivia: Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick films, had worked as Keanu Reeves' stunt double for 15 years prior to his directorial debut on this film.
Trivia: Kevin Nash's hands were too large to fit into his coat pockets, and they became very cold as a result. His request to have the pockets cut larger was denied because the coat was an expensive rental. When Keanu Reeves learned of this, he demanded they cut his pockets larger.
Viggo Tarasov: I heard you struck my son.
Aureilo: Yes, sir, I did.
Viggo Tarasov: And may I ask why?
Aureilo: Yeah, well, because he stole John Wick's car, sir, and, uh, killed his dog.
Viggo Tarasov: Oh.
Viggo Tarasov: John wasn't exactly the boogeyman. He's the one you sent to kill the fucking boogeyman.
John Wick: People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back.
Question: In the hotel fight scene with Ms. Perkins, she takes what I think is the bottom end of her jacket and bites down on it. Any idea why? Just curious.
Question: In response to the answer for the Cardinal Rule question, wouldn't the cancellation of the contract by Viggo due to John's threat void that agreement (Marcus' acceptance of the contract)?
Answer: No. Regardless of any cancellation that Viggo made after-the-fact, the "Cardinal Rule" still applies to Marcus. He accepted the contract, he was contractually-obligated to kill John Wick, and he failed to kill John Wick. Marcus broke his word, essentially, which was an inexcusable violation.
Question: John got out because Viggo gave him an "impossible task." I'm sure I'm one of many John Wick fans who would love to see a prequel showing how John got out and what the task was. However, would it still be possible to film a prequel even with Nyqvist's passing?
Answer: In Hollywood, anything's possible. However, it would mean removing much of the mystique surrounding the character. Part of the reason Wick works so well is the mysterious back story.
Answer: She is setting up the choke move she uses on Wick seconds later. She places the strap to her jacket in her mouth so she can reach it when she spins around. She then wraps it around Wick's neck and tries to strangle him with the strap.
