Continuity mistake: The Bureau Raid: After celebrating at Lester's house, Michael leaves whilst Franklin and Lester are celebrating together. Michael then receives a call from Dave. Franklin is never shown exiting the house, but if you choose to switch to Franklin after making the call, he is suddenly shown walking around Los Santos, even though he was just shown celebrating with Lester.
Continuity mistake: Paparazzo - The Sex Shoot: Franklin and Beverly run back to Beverly's car with the sex tape footage, they then enter the car and drive off. When Franklin enters the car, he is shown entering the door to the left back seat, behind the driver's seat. We don't actually see him enter, but he is not shown entering the right side door of the back seat and he was definitely on the back row, as shown when he then tries to film Poppy driving, so he definitely entered through the left back seat. After they have filmed the footage of Poppy chasing them, Beverly stops the car to allow Franklin to exit. Franklin is now sitting in the right hand side back seat.
Continuity mistake: Paparazzo - The Sex Shoot: Franklin walks up to Beverly just before the opening cut scene begins. As Franklin is walking up, Beverly is shown holding his camera pointing forwards, slightly to the right. The scene then cuts to the opening cut scene and Beverly is suddenly holding the camera much more to the right.
Continuity mistake: Paparazzo: After Franklin and Beverly have stopped the rival photographer, Franklin then has to drive Beverly to his next stakeout. Franklin stops Beverly's bike in the car park for Beverly to get off. At the moment where the bike stops, Beverly is shown holding his camera with one hand whilst he holds on to Franklin. The scene then cuts to the cut scene where Beverly is suddenly shown holding the camera with both hands.
Continuity mistake: Scouting the Port: After arriving at the docking area in the truck, the security guards begin attacking Floyd and Trevor runs off with a briefcase. When the guards begin attacking Floyd, Floyd and the guards are shown in front of the truck and also in front of the gate. The scene then cuts back to the game where Trevor has to escape and suddenly, Floyd and the guards are shown behind the gate.
Continuity mistake: Scouting the Port: When Trevor and Floyd arrive at the docking area, they are stopped by the security guards before they can enter. There is a gate shown right in front of where they stop and the gate is open. The gate is never touched once in the cut scene but when it cuts back to the game, the gate is suddenly closed.
Continuity mistake: The playable characters in the game, Franklin, Michael and Trevor can receive injuries. These injuries can be seen when they are travelling through Los Santos, travelling through Los Santos during a mission, or travelling through Los Santos to get to the next mission. However, on some occasions, when the cut scene for the following mission begins, the injuries appear to have vanished.
Continuity mistake: Repossession: Franklin and Lamar must chase down a man who stole their bike in their car. One of the ways they can stop this man is by running him over with the car. Once Franklin goes back for the bike, the body of the man is nowhere in sight. This only applies as long as the thief had been run over with the car.
Continuity mistake: Scouting the Port: When Wade picks up the portrait of Floyd's girlfriend, he grabs the lower left hand section with his left hand and grabs the middle of the bottom section with his right hand. The shot cuts to a different angle, where Wade's right hand is now closer to the right hand side of the bottom section.
Continuity mistake: Scouting the Port: When Floyd returns to the apartment after Trevor and Wade have discussed the heist plan, Trevor begins to say "We are going straight to the local union rep" whilst walking around the counter. The shot ends with Trevor midway through past the counter, but in the next shot, he has suddenly walked past the counter, standing still.
Continuity mistake: The Jewel Store Job (Smart Approach): After stealing the jewels, Michael heads for the exit. Just before Michael makes it through the front door, Franklin is seen talking to a police officer who has his arms by his side. The cutscene then starts playing where the police officer suddenly has his arms raised.
Continuity mistake: The Merryweather Heist (Offshore Approach): In the ending cut scene, Trevor bangs his head against the wooden crate lid at the airstrip. Due to him banging his head on it, blood appears on the crate lid. The game then announces the mission is complete and cuts back to the game. After it cuts back to the game, the blood on the wooden crate lid has vanished.
