Continuity mistake: When Judy goes upstairs to pack after finding the baby booties, behind Ron there is a chair at the head of the dining room table, in front of the box he just taped. Then, just before Ron says, "Your mother and I are really proud of you," that chair has vanished, only to reappear when Judy shouts that she's crying again. (00:09:45)
Continuity mistake: When the Cube sliver burns through the floor and falls onto the kitchen table, in the overhead shot there is a red stool on the side of the table (bottom of screen) with the bowl of cereal, but as the appliances transform that stool is at the wall beside the doorway. It reappears beside the table a few shots later, as the transformed blender jumps on it. (00:12:30)
Continuity mistake: At NEST headquarters in Diego Garcia, when Galloway arrives holding up the Presidential order document, in the shot from behind him as he walks through the front gate, the booth is to his right (viewer's right) and the vehicle to his left (viewer's left), but in the shot facing him the booth is to his left (viewer's right) and the vehicle is to his right (viewer's left). Continuity mistake: After Judy goes upstairs to pack, as Ron has a heart to heart with Sam, the dogs jump onto the couch and there are striped and patterned pillows beside Mojo. When Ron says, "Mojo, no dominating Frankie," the striped pillow is gone from that side of the couch. (00:10:00)
Other mistake: In one of the beginning scenes, the time at the bottom says that it is 22:00, which means it would be 10pm in China. In the scene, it is bright daylight, not night time as it should be. (00:02:15)
Continuity mistake: When Sam enters his dorm room for the first time (carrying the box), the two large stickers (rectangular and round) are to the right of the two posters on the door, but in the following shots both of the stickers are to the left of the posters. (00:25:30)
Continuity mistake: When Sam rushes back to his dorm room, he paints the first symbol on the Bad Boys poster, then rips the top poster off the wall and paints large symbols on the wall in its place. That poster remains gone in all the following shots except for two, where it is back on the wall above the Bad Boys poster. First when Sam knocks over the microwave and then when Alice fully transforms on Sam's bed. (00:50:10)
Continuity mistake: When Sam meets Leo in the dorm room, the bike near the window is not chained/padlocked to the metal bed frame springs. However, when Leo complains about Robo-Warrior the bike is chained/padlocked to the bed frame, but when Sam's parents walk in it's not again. Additionally, the bed frame moves from being in front of the window closer to the corner, to being directly in front of the window fan. (00:25:40 - 00:27:45)
Continuity mistake: When Bumblebee shows up at the frat party with the horn blaring, Sam looks outside and sees the car on the lawn flashing headlights with a clean front bumper, but when Sam questions Bumblebee, there are bush branches all over the bumper. (00:35:00)
Continuity mistake: When Leo and Alice walk in on Sam in the symbol filled dorm room, there are large yellow symbols on the closet door which are partially erased when he knocks over the microwave, then back to the way it was originally. (00:50:00)
Continuity mistake: After Leo uses the taser on the security guard in the bathroom, the guard is sprawled out on the floor with his left arm lying beside him and the TP roll above his arm, but next shot the guard's arm is up parallel to his shoulder, with the TP roll now between his arm and torso. Continuity mistake: Before heading into the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, when Simmons pulls the taser out of his bag and turns it on he holds it in his right hand, but in Leo's close-up as he starts to freak out, the taser's in Simmons's left hand, then it's back in Simmons's right hand, between shots. Continuity mistake: In the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Simmons grabs a leather flight jacket, puts it on and when he stands perfectly still between two mannequins his fur collar is first flipped up then flat down, between shots. (01:21:15)
Answer: Well, for one thing, he blew up Sam's room and half their house. Sam knows Bumblebee meant well, but is still mad at him because of the destruction he caused. It's the equivalant of a child knocking over a vase while trying to hit a fly.
