Trivia: At the Sunnyside Day Care there is a wooden version of Lighting McQueen rolling around on the floor. In the sandbox is the Luxor Ball, the yellow ball with the red star and blue stripe. There is also the Pizza Planet truck.

Easter egg: On Disc 2 of the 2 Disc Special Edition, go down to Deconstructing Visual Bayhem. Go down to More on the menu, continue to the last page of this section. Select Jackhammer Fight and push the right button on the remote. An Autobot symbol will show. It has some highlights of the dogs. (Not one for the kiddies to see.)

Easter egg: In the two disc set, Disc 2 (Special Features), at the main menu select The Human Factor. Once you are in that part go down to Domestic Destruction, push the right button on the remote and a little icon of the Decepticons will appear. It shows a blooper during one of the big scenes.

Trivia: When Sam and Mikaela are running through the pillars to meet up with Optimus Prime there is a Decepticon that almost gets his head blown off. If you slow it down frame by frame on his right arm is says T1000. A little play on the Terminator. (DVD commentary.) (02:07:25)

Easter egg: Go to the Special Menu. Go down to where it says EXTRAS. Push the left button of the remote and the left blinker light on the Vespa will be red. It will show you the email of the old woman. From there you can push the down button on the remote and the other light will turn red and that will show you part of the speech in the Chinese restaurant.

Character mistake: When the two main characters are approached by the coach in the school, they make a bet on how many times the coach will say sh*t, the coach says it 9 times, but Nick says that there were ten.

Easter egg: In the "Unrated" version go to Bonus Features. Scroll down to Bloopers and push the right button. You will see two hands light up. That will take you to a short called "Wainy Days".

Easter egg: In the "Unrated Version", if you go to the extras menu, go all the way down to where it says "Main Menu". There will be a circle to the right of that. Push the right, but another small circle will be highlighted within the picture. It will show you what they did when they cut off the eyebrow of Jason Biggs.

Trivia: When Ben meets Abigail for the first time he comments on her accent being "Pennsylvania Dutch". She replies with "Saxony German". Diane Kruger, who plays Abigail, is actually from Algermissen, Lower Saxony, Germany. So she wasn't lying.

Trivia: If you look at the birth mark on both Alex's and Zuba's right paws they are in the shape of Africa, including the island of Madagascar which is off the east coast of Africa.

Easter egg: On the regular version of the DVD, on the Main Menu screen, go down to Set Up. Push the right arrow then the up arrow and it will highlight a W above the menu. It will take you to a test title from 2004 that the director used to pitch the movie.

Easter egg: On the regular DVD (not the special 2 disc edition), go down to Special Features, press the left arrow then press the up arrow and it will highlight the B and L logo in the upper left hand corner of the screen. It will take you to "Geek-o-rama", a feature about the Pixar employees.
