Other mistake: When James kills the snake in his bathroom with the flame from his cigar and the aerosol, the carpet doesn't appear even singed. (00:34:35)
Continuity mistake: After Bond has killed the snake with the aerosol can in his hotel bathroom, he puts down the cigar he is smoking next to the sink. When he hears the door opening, he walks into the bedroom and the cigar is back in his mouth again. (00:34:40)
Suggested correction: Watch the scene a bit closer. After he sets the cigar down, he puts aftershave on his hand and rubs it on his face, then sets the can back down. As he starts to walk, you can see him reach towards the sink again. This is where he would have picked the cigar up off screen. Then, just as he is placing his hand on the light switch, watch closely in the next shot, and the cigar is in his other hand where he picked it up. He shoves it in his mouth before acting on the silhouette on the door.
Revealing mistake: When Rosie pokes a gun through the door at the Bond's bungalow, Bond uses his cigar to burn her hand, and then throws her onto the bed. You can see that the person being thrown is not Gloria Hendry, but a male stunt double. (00:35:05)
Character mistake: When Rosie sticks her revolver in Bond's room and Bond flips her onto the bed, Bond incorrectly identifies the gun as a Smith and Wesson .38 which would make it a model 10 or 15. It was actually a Model 19 .357 Magnum. (00:35:40)

Continuity mistake: On the beach, when Bond shows the card to Rosie, the way he holds it differs between shots: his fingers stand out or not, depending on the shot. (00:40:20)
Character mistake: When Rosie points the gun at Quarrel on his boat, she says she might have shot him. He says she might even have killed him if she had taken off the safety catch. Like most revolvers, the Model 19 .357 Magnum has no safety. (00:41:05)
Other mistake: When Bond is sky-surfing on the back of the other agent's boat, you can see a shadow above the skysurfer. Why would there be a shadow in the sky? (00:48:05)
Factual error: When the camera does a close up shot of Bond in the sky in the Microlight, the fabric is far too loose for it to actually be in the sky. The fabric would be taut as the air flows over it. (00:48:40)
Continuity mistake: After James lands with his hang glider on the island, he turns his jacket inside-out. There are no lapels. When he sits in Solitaire's chair, there are big lapels. (00:49:05)

Continuity mistake: When Bond is playing with Solitaire's cards at her house, the position of the cards changes between shots. (00:49:15)
Continuity mistake: When Bond fans out the (fake) card deck to Solitaire, the card-fan changes between shots. (00:50:10)
Plot hole: Bond steals the ancient double decker bus, not noted for any kind of speed, and he also doesn't get much of a head start against the police, yet in later shots he's quite a distance ahead of them. Skilled driver or not, it's a bus. (00:58:50 - 01:01:10)

Continuity mistake: After Bond has finished ripping the wings off the Cessna and parks up, he speaks to the old female pilot, and in doing so, the camera shows that the wings behind her head are still intact, when they were already ripped off at this point. (01:06:25 - 01:07:05)
Plot hole: James Bond shouldn't have gotten away at the end of the airport scene, where he steals an aeroplane and pretends to be a flying instructor. He had no wings with which to fly away, and he ended back up right outside the airport. So, the henchmen, who seemed to still be chasing him one shot before he parked, should have been right on him, waiting when he got out of the plane. (01:06:55)
Suggested correction: This is not necessarily true. He already got away from the cars chasing him, as they crashed. Any that were still pursuing him would have been blocked in the hangar. The other guys running after him were running on foot. Even while taxiing, the plane is faster than the men on foot. Once the plane is stopped, we don't see what happens next as it cuts to the next scene after the funny bit with the pilot. So the exact means of his escape or not is speculation.
Revealing mistake: When Bond is giving Mrs Bell her flying lesson at the airport, the wings are torn off the plane. When Bond says, "Same time tomorrow, Mrs Bell?" the reaction shot of Mrs Bell shows the left wing to be intact. It is her same reaction shot when Bond climbed into the plane. (01:07:00)

Other mistake: When Bond is sitting in the chair and Kananga is checking to see if he deflowered Solitaire, the metal arm restraints only cover 1/2 of Bond's arms, which would allow for Bond to easily escape by just slipping his arms out. (01:11:30 - 01:17:00)

Continuity mistake: When Bond is secured to the chair just before Kananga reveals himself, Teehee has his claw hand at a 90 degree angle in the shot of them both from the side. The very next shot in front, focused more on Bond, has Teehee's arm down by his side. (01:11:45)
Other mistake: When Tee Hee strikes Bond to supposedly knock him out, he makes contact with Bond's right shoulder blade. He doesn't strike anywhere near the neck/head region, which is where you would hit if you were trying to knock someone unconscious. (01:17:05)

Revealing mistake: As "Tee Hee" (the man with the claw) escorts Bond to the alligator pond at the farm, they at one point stand next to each other. You can see that Tee Hee's prosthetic arm is much longer than his real one- about as long as you might expect it to be, if the actor is really holding a prop with his actual (and perfectly good) hand. (01:20:55)
Continuity mistake: When Bond is on the small isle in the crocodile pond, one of the crocodiles begins to climb the rock. Cut to Bond and then back at the crocodile who has now turned into an alligator. In the next shot it is once again a crocodile. (01:24:40)

Suggested correction: It was a woollen carpet. Wool is fireproof.
It would still have been singed.
It does, as it turns brown.
