Live and Let Die

Other mistake: When Bond gets his Rolex he explains that by pulling out this button it turns it into a hyper intensified magnet, but he actually turns the bezel to activate it. Also, Bond repeats Q's claim that it can deflect the path of a bullet. Lead bullets, even with copper jackets, are not affected by magnetism.

Other mistake: When Bond is sky-surfing on the back of the other agent's boat, you can see a shadow above the skysurfer. Why would there be a shadow in the sky?

Other mistake: When Tee Hee strikes Bond to supposedly knock him out, he makes contact with Bond's right shoulder blade. He doesn't strike anywhere near the neck/head region, which is where you would hit if you were trying to knock someone unconscious.

Other mistake: When James kills the snake in his bathroom with the flame from his cigar and the aerosol, the carpet doesn't appear even singed.

Suggested correction: It was a woollen carpet. Wool is fireproof.

It would still have been singed.

It does, as it turns brown.

Other mistake: The Oh Voodoo shop in NY and the underground car park exit are both one level below street level. JB walks out of the back of the shop and finds Whisper's Corvette pimp mobile on the same level. So why does the Cadillac limo have to leave the car park using a vehicle lift?

Continuity mistake: When the guy with the snake is shot, Baron Samedi reappears and you can distinctly see the bloke holding the snake again.

Trivia: Desmond Llewellyn, who played "Q", only failed to make an appearance in two of the first 19 Bond movies. He wasn't in "Dr. No" (Major Boothroyd is introduced, however, played by Peter Burton), and this film because of the stupid belief by the producers that Bond fans wanted fewer gadgets.

Chosen answer: One assumes that the card that 'foretold' that Rosie was a double-agent was either sent by Felix Lighter of the FBI/CIA or by Solitaire herself. But, more than likely, it was Bond's faithful sidekick Quarrel, Jr. (the fisherman/boat captain on San Monique).
