Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when Edward is picking up Bella for the prom, he sits with Charlie in the kitchen with a glass of water in his hand. He then leaves the kitchen WITHOUT the glass of water. When he makes the motion to leave the house, he is holding a glass (suddenly empty). He proceeds to leave the house with the glass.
Corrected entry: During the scene where Edward first shows Bella how he glitters in the sun his shirt is unbuttoned. In the next shot his shirt is suddenly buttoned back up.
Corrected entry: When Bella goes to meet the Cullens, Rosalie shatters the salad bowl and steps out of the mess. Later there is a shot of a clean floor, then again the salad is there at the end of the scene.
Correction: The shot of the clean floor area is just after Alice enters the room, which shows the floor behind Rosalie. Even though Rosalie stepped over to the side, away from the shattered bowl and salad, the mess is still in front of her. So, this isn't a mistake because the "clean floor" is behind her, whereas the salad mess is in front of her.
Corrected entry: The book and movie both say that the Cullens do not eat at all, but in one of the cafeteria scenes when Bella walks in, Edward throws down his half eaten pancake (or similar) and Emmett is eating too.
Correction: Edward points out in the book that they can eat human food. He also states that they don't because it's like a human eating dirt. They're just keeping up appearances.
Corrected entry: In the baseball field when James, Laurent, and Victoria meet the Cullens, they would have been able to smell Bella was human. Rosalie smelled her when she was in the Cullen's house for dinner.
Correction: They DID smell Bella's human scent - that's why James pursued her thereafter.
Corrected entry: In the first biology classroom scene there is a armadillo in the background, later in the movie in the second scene in the classroom it is gone but in the next shot it reappears.
Correction: The armadillo sits on a high shelf. When the camera angle is facing Edward, the armadillo appears behind Edward, but over his head. During the second scene the camera angle never goes above Edward's head, so the armadillo is there but without the camera angle moving upward it just isn't visible.
Corrected entry: In the scene before prom, Bella has the boot on her foot, but when Edward takes Bella outside to dance during prom and puts her on his feet, she is wearing two shoes and no boot. Her right leg is supposed to be broken.
Correction: She is wearing the boot the entire time. It blends with Edward's pants, but it's there.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward is playing Bella's lullaby on the piano, Bella goes from sitting against his shoulder in one shot to sitting about half a foot away from him in the next shot.
Correction: The lullaby scene takes place over a lot of time. If you notice, Rosalie is there, but after a while, she leaves. Bella had time to shift positions.
Corrected entry: When Edward and Bella are at the meadow, and the sunlight hits Edward, causing his skin to sparkle like crystals, not all of his exposed skin sparkles, just his face. But his neck/chest does not sparkle at all even though his skin is exposed here.
Correction: They do to sparkle, it is just difficult to see because of poor light and shadows.
Corrected entry: Right after Edward gets in the jeep after the scene with James in the clearing, he says that they will take a ferry to Vancouver. From Forks, Vancouver isn't a ferry ride away, just a long drive.
Correction: Going to Vancouver, BC, there is a ferry from Port Townsend, WA to Fort Casey, WA they can take that would cut at least three hours from their drive. It is common in Washington State to use ferries in conjunction with the final destination as it has one of the largest ferry fleets in the US.
Corrected entry: In the scene after Bella slips on the ice, and is talking to Charlie, you can hear rain and you can see rain all around them, but there is no rain falling on the characters.
Corrected entry: Billy Black is supposed to be paralyzed in his legs but when they come to Bella's house the second time, Billy is driving.
Correction: People who are partially paralyzed (in the legs) can drive vehicles with special hand controls. Unless there is more to this mistake that has not been stated, this is not necessarily a mistake.
Corrected entry: Between the baseball match scene and the ride in the car to Bella's house, Edward wears a baseball-outfit (the shirt). However, when he is at the door, and the scenes afterwards, he has changed into a grey sweater.
Correction: Edward had plenty of time to change. In the scene just before this one, he tells Bella to think of something to tell her father about leaving. Being that she comes in the door yelling at Edward and telling her father that she broke up with him, we can see that there is a gap of time that wasn't shown since they are acting out their plan to get her out.
Corrected entry: When Edward rescues Bella from the four frat boys, she has a large black purse. When he drops her off at the police station, she doesn't have the purse. Also, when he follows her into the woods, she throws her backpack down by a tree. They go all over the mountain and never get her backpack back.
Corrected entry: When Bella and Edward arrive at Prom, their picture is taken upon entering the building. Since Edward is a vampire and vampires do not have reflections nor can be seen in pictures, this shouldn't have happened. Edward would have known about this since he's been in how school for years.
Correction: In the Twilight mythos, vampires have reflections and can have their photos taken. As vampires are fictional, each different mythos can choose to deal with them as they see fit.
Corrected entry: In one scene Bella and Edward are sitting together in the rain and Edward's hair is very wet, and then suddenly in the next shot they are both dry, his hair is dry, and he is wearing a different shirt.
Corrected entry: In the scene at the dance studio there are many many mirrors. Bella sees James's reflection in the mirrors. But James is a vampire. Vampires historically do not have reflections.
Correction: "Historically" does not apply here - this movie is consistent with the book from which it is derived. These vampires are not like others in literature. This is made very clear in the books - and in the movie as well, with many things being different (reflecting in the sunlight vs. being tortured by sunlight, etc.).
Corrected entry: Edward is described as being 'ice cold' both in the book and movie, however in many of the scenes where he is outside, his breath is shown to condensate in the cold air, which would make no sense if he was as cold, if not colder, than the air itself.
Correction: His skin may be cold, it doesn't mean his internal body core is cold. Besides, as with the other entry about the same thing, vampires are not real, as such their physiology is open to debate even between different books and movies. An opinion is not a mistake.
Corrected entry: When Edward saves Bella from the almost car crash, he pushes the van away. On the underside of the van, there is a little wheel, which obviously helped push it.
Correction: I've looked at this multiple times and still don't see the wheel, nor do I see it in flashbacks. When exactly and where do you see it?
Corrected entry: In Charlie's kitchen, when Bella and Charlie are briefly discussing Rene and Phil, Bella kind of chuckles and mumbles and then leaves the kitchen. Charlie then says, "Alright" however his mouth never moves.
Correction: "Alright" can be said without any visible movement. He also does this a lot in the movie.
Correction: Edward is not carrying the glass - the object in his hand is a clear corsage box.
