Cabin Fever

Plot hole: Marcy was killed because she was unable to unlock the tool shed door quickly enough to get inside where she'd be safe from the mad dog. So how did the dog get inside the tool shed where Paul finds him only minutes later? (01:10:50)

Revealing mistake: Despite her very vigorous thrusting when she makes love with Paul, the bed sheet covering Marcy's ass doesn't get shaken off. Not even a little bit. Also, when they finish, she collapses on to him and he wraps his arm around her back. When he does this you can see that his arm is coming up from near the bottom of her waist. If his arm lines up with her lower waist, then Marcy's crotch must line up with his chest or belly - much higher then it needed to be to have sex. (01:02:40)

Question: Why do the townsfolk let people come into town if there is a disease in the water. How are they staying alive? Do they know about it?

Answer: They don't know about it. The only resident in town to contract the disease was the hermit. The sheriff even remarks to Deputy Winston on his radio that the kids at the cabin were going on a killing spree and that they had some kind of skin disease, indicating the disease was heretofore unknown to them. It's possible that the hermit's dog was the carrier.
