Audio problem: Cage and his daughter are being chased by Bruce McGill, and Cage is waiting because the lady won't keep the change. When Cage grabs the change, he says "what, are you insane?". The words don't match his mouth movements.
Matchstick Men (2003)
1 audio problem
Directed by: Ridley Scott
Starring: Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell, Bruce McGill, Alison Lohman, Beth Grant, Bruce Altman, Jenny O'Hara, Steve Eastin
Other mistake: As Roy meets his daughter, he gets out of his car and we see the car door left open as he runs towards her. Near the end of their conversation, the camera focuses on Roy, and through the space between his body and right arm, you can see the side view mirror indicating the door is now shut without anyone touching it. (00:26:50)
Roy: Fourteen! You're fourteen! When'd you have time to get arrested?
Trivia: The 4 main characters (Roy, Angela, Frank and Frechette) all smoke at some point in the film. This is a clue added by the filmmakers to indicate that the people who smoke in the film are con men, a teaser if you like to indicate that Angela is also involved in the con (This is revealed in the DVD director's commentary).
