Continuity mistake: When Rosemary goes to visit Minnie to inform her she's going out for a while, she rings the doorbell, and we hear it chime. Later, at Minnie and Romans while everyone is gathered around the baby, another guest arrives, rings the doorbell, and it's a very different chime. (01:10:13 - 02:12:08)
Deliberate mistake: As Hutch entered their apartment with his overcoat buttoned, his gloves were in the jacket pocket underneath and not in the overcoat. Later we see him take them out of his jacket and leave them on the coffee table as he speaks to Roman. Before he leaves Guy goes to the closet and gets Hutch's coat and the one lone glove appears where it shouldn't be, back in his overcoat pocket. (01:01:50 - 01:07:20)
Other mistake: Guy goes to the closet and gets Hutch's coat as he's about to leave after having coffee with Rosemary. If you look at her she looks ghostly as they applied more makeup to her face between shots. Unfortunately they missed some spots around her eyes and on her forehead. (01:06:50)
Factual error: Rosemary goes out to meet Hutch at the Time Life Building and we see the marquee at Radio City indicating that "The Happiest Millionaire" staring Fred Mac Murray and Tommy Steele is playing. The problem here is that it's already been established by the calendar on the Woodhouse's kitchen wall and by the Pope's visit it that this is winter 1965, but "The Happiest Millionaire" didn't premier until 1967. (01:10:25)
Continuity mistake: Rosemary and Guy Joke around in their apartment after dinner with the Castevet's and Guy unbuttons and pulls his shirt out of his pants as he gets undressed. He walks off camera for few seconds and comes into view again with his shirt tucked back in his pants, only to take it off again a few seconds later. (00:29:30)
Revealing mistake: As Rosemary looks at Minnie through her door the peep hole is obviously held up by hand in front of the camera as it is moving around considerably. (00:20:05)
Continuity mistake: Rosemary talks to Terry Gionoffrio in the basement as they both do their laundry. She interrupts their conversation to put fabric softener into the machine and, if you listen closely, the washing machine is empty as she pours it in. (00:13:45)
Audio problem: Guy flushes the toilet as he walks through the bathroom. The toilet is actually empty and the sound is an over-dub because there is no resistance on the handle when he pushes it down. Had an old toilet like that actually been full you would see the resistance in the lever as the flapper inside rises. (00:04:45)
Continuity mistake: Rosemary goes into labor and the pillowcase on her bed has flowers on it. In the next shot when she wakes up even though she's still wearing the same dress, the pillow cases are different now having yellow and white stripes. (01:58:50)
Continuity mistake: As she sits waiting for Dr. Sapirstein, Rosemary picks up a TIME Magazine with the cover story "Is God Dead" (April 8,1966) which has a red border and white lettering on top. In the next shot if you look very closely she's reading another magazine that has a red border and yellow lettering. (01:40:40)
Continuity mistake: There's no indication that Rosemary has been reading or even opened up her suitcase while she went from Dr. Sapirstein's office to Dr. Hill, but when she packed her suitcase the red book was on top, now in Doctor Hill's office she opens the suitcase and the red book is on the bottom. (01:47:40)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Hill brings Rosemary into an examining room and turns on the air conditioner so she can rest. Before he leaves we see outside the window and it's daylight, but two shots later we see out the window again and it's twilight. (01:50:20)
Continuity mistake: In their bedroom Rosemary packs her suitcase for the hospital visit, as Guy looks on. At first the window behind her is bathed in a bluish light than in the next shot the curtains are in white light. (01:23:45)
Continuity mistake: Minnie put something in the mousse that Rosemary ate and as she stumbles out of the kitchen John Cassavetes who is watching the pope at Yankee Stadium on TV, accidentally calls her Mia as he catches her before she falls. (00:41:40)
Visible crew/equipment: In Doctor Hill's office Rosemary opens her suitcase and just before she hands the red book to the doctor a piece of paper held by a crew member can be seen in the lower left area of the screen. In the next shot the doctor's hands are empty so it couldn't have been him holding it. (01:47:45)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Sapirstein and Guy escort Rosemary out of Dr. Hill's office into a car waiting to take her back to The Bramford. As the car drives off there's nothing behind the backseat but in the next shot there are some folders and a box of Kleenex there. (01:53:20)
Continuity mistake: The operator closes the elevator door and there's no railing behind it. In the next shot from inside the elevator the operator is holding on to a protective rail. (00:02:50)
Deliberate mistake: Rosemary takes out the Scrabble game, trying to figure out what the anagram means, and spills all letters onto the floor. In the next shot the title of the book "All of Them Witches" appears on the floor without her ever touching them. (01:28:30)
Continuity mistake: Rosemary doesn't like Minnie's mousse and hands it over to Guy to eat. If you look closely throughout the scene, the two glasses and candle on her side of the table move toward her without being touched. (00:40:15)
Continuity mistake: Rosemary talks to Terry Gionoffrio in the basement as they both do their laundry. She interrupts their conversation to put fabric softener into the machine and if you listen closely the washing machine is empty as she pours it in. (00:13:45)
Chosen answer: No, Dr. Hill was not a Satan worshiper. He was just Rosemary's first obstetrician, referred to her by a friend. However, her neighbors, the Castevettes, later convince her to instead go to their friend, Dr. Abe Sapperstein, who is a warlock.

He simply didn't believe what she told him so he called her husband to come get her.
Dr. Hill was indulging Rosemary to calm her. The detrimental effects of fear and stress are real. He never believed her claims were true, but he understood how sincere she was in her belief. He was considering becoming involved in her care until he learned the name of her obstetrician. Dr. Abraham Sapirstein was renowned in his field. Dr. Hill respected him. It would have been foolish to interfere with a patient of Dr Sapirstein. So, again, Rosemary was deceived and betrayed by a man she trusted.
