The Transporter

Continuity mistake: In the bank robbery getaway scene at the start of the film, the Transporter tells the robbers to put their seat belts on, yet throughout the chase you can see them dissapear and reappear.

Continuity mistake: While transporting the three AIC robbers, when Frank drives backwards down the auto transport trailer, the driver side mirror breaks as it passes the trailer's side safety bar, but that mirror is intact again by the next shot. (00:08:35)

Continuity mistake: When the inspector comes into Frank's house for coffee, Frank pours some milk into his cup. In the following shots the milk bottle is full again. (00:40:55)

Continuity mistake: When the blue police car pursues Frank, who is transporting the AIC robbers, as they pass pillars (between the two cars) a man rushes behind one of the pillars facing it, but next shot his back is up against the pillar. (Only visible in widescreen.) (00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: When Frank is being pursued by the blue police car, while transporting the three AIC robbers, the blue car's front license plate becomes lopsided to the right and then to the left, but when the car stops short at the traffic barrier the license plate is on properly. (00:06:50)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film, Frank is visited by the police inspector. He has a visible though muted scab on his right temple. It was not there before this scene, and goes away afterward. The scenes were shot out of sequence. Later in the film during the fight on the bus/depot, he gets hit at the right temple and blood is drawn. Normally the blood would seem to just be there for effect, but due to the scab shown earlier in the film, he must have really been hit pretty good.

Continuity mistake: When the Transporter gets pistol whipped, he gets a big bump on his head. In the next scene in the jail cell, the position of it goes from the left, to the right, then back again.

Continuity mistake: During the first chase, when Frank is trapped between the police cars and garbage truck he screeches his tires for a long time. When he is flying off the bridge about to land on the car carrier transport, you see the rubber on his upper and lower left tires are completely gone, but when Frank lands all tires are good as new.

Continuity mistake: When Frank and Lai leave the police station, Lai jumps into the taxi, and as Frank walks up to it a man with long hair wearing a brown top is walking behind him, yet when Frank reaches the taxi, the man disappears.

Continuity mistake: When Frank takes Lai out of the trunk, she sits with her hands tied as she shakes the bag off her shoulder, and her pink top's spaghetti strap drops down below her white sleeve. Next shot the pink strap is on properly. (00:21:05)

Continuity mistake: In the garage fight scene, Frank slathers himself in motor oil to gain a slippery advantage over the mob of attackers. He escapes by diving through a window, plunging into the bay below. After a swim to safety, he is perfectly clean. (01:13:45 - 01:16:00)

Continuity mistake: Frank has the fastest microwave in the world. It looked like he programmed his microwave for three minutes to cook noodles. Frank then talks to Lai for just over 30 seconds when the microwave beeps, indicating the time is up. (00:33:35)

Continuity mistake: In the scene with the 18-wheeler trucks, watch the highway in the background. Throughout the whole scene the traffic behind the trucks keeps dissapearing and reappearing.

Continuity mistake: In the lorry chase scene Franks is followed by three black Mercedes S-classes. When he drops his parachute, we can see it falling on an S-class with alloy wheels. After the car crashes a Mercedes C-class with steel wheels can be seen in the explosion. (01:19:10)

Continuity mistake: When the plane with Frank in it swoops low over the convoy and then regains height, the convoy is seen to be at a particular point on the road. After Frank jumps out with the paraglider and catches up with the convoy, it is at the *exact same spot* on the road, despite having driven on in the intervening shot.

Continuity mistake: During the 1st chase when camera is showing how Frank's hand is shifting gears, there's one shot of the bank robber's hand getting hit with the gearstick while Frank is shifting. Next shot shows all bank robbers in the car with visible hands. No one is that quick to move his hands so fast. (00:05:20)

Continuity mistake: When Frank is on the way to the bank, he stops at an intersection and a couple of people cross. On the right side of his car (as on the screen), that part of the lane is empty. Then there is a shot of Frank inside the car and you can see cops in their patrol car next to him, while in previous shot there was nobody there. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: When Frank begins his revenge rampage on Wall Street's men, there's a close-up of Lai bound to the office chair with duct tape across her mouth and the slit Frank made earlier is gone, so at first it's to be presumed that it's a new piece of tape. However, when Lai pokes her head out from the back seat of the car Frank stole, there is a slit in the tape, but when he pulls her and the chair out onto the road the slit's gone, only to return again when Frank brings her to his house. (00:28:40 - 00:32:50)

Trivia: The BMW used in the film was an E38 735i, according to the BMW Wiki page. In the DVD commentary, Statham tells us it was a custom-built, manual transmission (when the production cars are automatics), and therefore one-of-a-kind. (00:02:30)

Question: Frank is fighting a lot of bad men in oil, so everything is slippery. My question is: What are the things Frank puts on the front of his feet, to fight the slippery oil, they are like half-rollerskates?

Chosen answer: You notice that Frank removes those items from a bicycle frame. Those are stirrup-style rat trap bicycle pedals. They have serrated metallic edges which supposedly give Frank traction on the concrete floor, despite the oily mess.
