Avengers: Endgame

Continuity mistake: Iron Man, Cap, Ant-Man and Hulk are shown leaping into 2012 just as the original six Avengers formed their circle. Cap then immediately begins reminding the team of their assignments. The dialogue is continuous so there is no time compression involved. Within 10 seconds of their arrival, they watch 2012 Hulk jump into a nearby street and begins smashing Chitauri and jumping on a car. However, in the original film, after the Avengers form the circle, the events that follow include Loki ordering more troops, then Cap giving orders to the rest of the team to hold them off, ending with the order for Hulk to "smash." Hulk then jumps up and starts fighting Chitauri along the sides of buildings before being knocked down into the street, where he could have presumably landed where the 2023 team sees him (the original film cuts to Thor at this point). These events in the original film take at least a minute to unfold in real time. (01:07:35)

Continuity mistake: In 2012, when Tony flies up inside the Stark Tower snooping on the Avengers talking to Loki, Loki delivers his lines faster compared to the original Avengers movie, and his movement is different too. (01:16:15)

Suggested correction: This doesn't seem to be a mistake as it would require a side-by-side comparison with the original film. Within the context of this film, everything fits.

Exactly. You could maybe get away with submitting this as a Deliberate Mistake, but since it's a scene from another movie being shown from a different perspective, it doesn't need to play our exactly as it did the first time. We'd just be watching that exact same scene from the other movie then.

Continuity mistake: When Scarlet Witch lands in front of Thanos, the pendant on her necklace is around the centre of her chest. Thanos tells her he doesn't even know who she is. When it cuts back to Scarlet Witch, the pendant is suddenly more to the left. (02:23:15)

Continuity mistake: When the three kids approach Bruce in the diner, Scott is in the corner of the frame with his right arm resting against the seat he is sitting on. Continuity mistake: When Quill is fighting two of Thanos' henchmen, he is shown with a blaster in both of his hands. The second henchman is shot by Gamora and collapses on top of Quill. He then pushes the henchman off him and the blaster is no longer in his right hand. Quill removes his face mask and the blaster is suddenly back in his right hand again. (02:20:15)

Continuity mistake: When Nat reunites with Barton in Tokyo to tell him about the plan, whilst he says "Don't give me hope", there are a few wet strands of hair shown going over his fringe. It then cuts to Nat, then back to Barton. In the second shot of Barton, the hair across his fringe is suddenly a lot more messier. (00:57:15)

Continuity mistake: After Captain America gets hit by Thanos' sword he's pushed back to a log - in the next shot the log disappears. (02:14:09)

Continuity mistake: The first time period the film cuts to after the quantum jump is New York 2012, and shows the clip of the six original Avengers assembled for the first time, forming a circle, as seen in the 2012 film, It then cuts to new footage from this film - an overhead shot of the original team that then pans over to the alley where the future versions arrive. In the original footage, to Hulk's left and in front of Hawkeye are two overturned cars, then a couple of cabs in a row. However, in the overhead shot, in this spot there is just a bunch of rubble from the damaged streets, and a single car right-side up, and no cabs where they should be. Also, there should probably be pieces of a leviathan creature lying around too since Iron Man blew one up just before they formed up. In the original film the creature crashed and then fell over the side of the raised road onto the lower road. But nothing indicating this is visible in the overhead shot. (01:07:25)

But a few seconds later, the Gauntlet is suddenly in between the two of them. (02:28:20)

Continuity mistake: When they are preparing the time machine in the van for the initial time travel test, Bruce tells Scott "We're good" giving him a thumbs up. Steve is standing behind Bruce on his right. The camera then cuts to an angle from behind them where Steve is suddenly standing on Bruce's left. Then in the following shot, Steve is back to standing on Bruce's right. This happens again when Scott goes into the Quantum Realm. (00:43:54)

Suggested correction: He simply switches hands, more than three times at least. Can't see it happen all the time but there is plenty of time in all occasions for him to do it.

Suggested correction: He needed to hot-wire the van. It's quite possible he could have left the van for parts (he's seen slamming a Leviathan to the ground) or to protect it. It also could have been an illusion by one of Dr. Strange's people.

DetectiveGadget85

Sorry but the suggested correction makes no sense. For one Dr Strange's people have no idea what Ant-Man looks like, and secondly Ant-Man would have no idea where to get parts from in the middle of a battlefield, let alone know if alien technology would be compatible. Also the time frame given when the scene plays out allows no time for him to leave the van, this is a legitimate mistake.

Dr. Strange's people don't know what Ant-Man looks like? He entered the battle with them long before they went to the van. Earth has had access to the same Leviathan parts since the original Avengers. If Toomes can make wings out of it in Spider-man Homecoming, it's possible he can figure something out. Clint had passed the glove to Black Panther before Ant-Man is seen in the background. There was plenty of time. He also could have been defending the van while they brought the glove.

There is plenty of time for Ant-Man to have left the van and returned to it. As the scenes play out, Ant-Man and Wasp are in the front of the van trying to hot wire it. The film then cuts to the battle for several minutes, as we see the passing off the gauntlet, which includes the brief shot of Giant-Man in the background. A few minutes later the film cuts back to the van and we see Scott opening the rear door of the van. So there's plenty of time for him to have gotten out of the van, saw potential trouble with the Leviathan, turned into Giant-Man to stop it while letting Hope finish activating the tunnel, and then returning to check the final settings. Now, all this raises another question that has to do with the apparent ease Giant-Man has in traversing the battlefield, as in why not just give Scott the gauntlet, have him turn into Giant-Man, take a few steps over to the van, and then shrink back down to take the stones back in time?
