Episode #2.1 - S2-E1
Continuity mistake: After John finishes arguing with the cyclist, the cyclist goes to remove his bottle from the roof of John's car and John starts driving, pulling the cyclist along with him a few feet. When John and Kayleigh are watching the video of this later on in the episode, the cyclist is shown removing the bottle from the roof of the car when John drives away, but he is not shown being pulled forward a few feet like he was earlier.
Character mistake: In an early episode, Villa mentions Rosewood's "banana colored" '69 GTO to his then girlfriend. Rosewood's GTO is a "banana colored" '68 GTO.
It's All about the Money, Honey - S6-E10
Continuity mistake: Kelsey stands up to leave the bar with her phone in her hand. After she leaves, her phone is on the table in front of her now empty chair. Next scene she is in her hotel room using her phone.
Factual error: The detective constable is addressed as "Sir" by uniformed constables. They actually hold the same rank. Detectives do not outrank uniformed officers in Britain.
Factual error: At the end the Chief Constable tells Jo she is being transferred to CID. She then says that most people would be happy to be told they'd been promoted to sergeant. But she hasn't been told she's been promoted to sergeant, since officers are transferred to CID in their current rank (detective constable in her case) and one isn't just promoted to sergeant; it requires passing a national-level exam and an interview. Chief constables can't just arbitrarily promote a constable to sergeant. Jo then salutes, something that hasn't been done by the British police for decades.
I Seem to Be Running Out of Dreams for Myself - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Harry hands Walter Blunt a cup of liquid to drink, and Walter takes it in his hand. The next shot Harry still has the cup on a plate.
Factual error: As Ren enters Renautas and meets Emily, the word "Welcome" keeps scrolling in various languages on the screens in the background. Although hardly seen, the Hebrew is wrong, as it is reversed (text from left-to-right, as opposed to right-to-left).
Revealing mistake: Just before he sees his wife in the crowd, he lifts the sword up, revealing a blade with very dull edges (unsharpened replica sword), which magically becomes super sharp 1 minute later when he slices the guy's head off without any problems. (01:27:20)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the episode, watch closely when the SWAT team member opens the bunker and reaches down. His gun is between his legs and the end of the barrel is touching the ground. In the very next shot, he's suddenly holding it much higher, and it's on his left side.
Episode #5.7 - S5-E7
Other mistake: Two actors are standing on an ancient muddy track which shows the tyre prints of a modern vehicle, made probably by the 4WD camera car. (00:09:00 - 00:10:00)
Prodigal Son - S2-E1
Factual error: Dipple refers to a statue and guesses it to be of Vishu from West Bengal. Truly that art form is still found in present day Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa but it is also found in Southern India. However, the guess is wrong on two accounts, first, Vishnu is a male deity but the statue was that of a female deity. Second, West Bengal came into existence after 1947 (or at least 1902) so there cannot be any concept of West Bengal back in 1820-30. At that point there was only Bengal. (00:25:45)
Revolution 1 - S2-E4
Factual error: Hodiak is having breakfast at a dinner. There is a sign for breakfast with a price of $4.95. In 1967 the price for breakfast would have been around $1.25 or less. Minimum wage was $1.60 an hour and the price of a big Mac, for example, was $0.50 and fries $0.10. So a $4.95 price for breakfast is just ridiculous.
The Marriage of Lupin III - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: In the flashback of their first encounter, Rebecca holds the challenging note by Lupin differently between shots. (00:04:50)
Factual error: Possibly a mistake from the novel on which the series is based, but although he later became Bishop of Hereford, St Thomas Cantilupe wasn't baptised in Herefordshire. He came from Buckinghamshire.
Episode #1.1 - S1-E1
Factual error: The series is set in 1933, as the initial captions show. Yet the locomotive pulling the Orient Express is a JNR Class C58: the C58 series was built starting from 1938 (C58 239 used here is from 1940).
Running with the Devil - S1-E2
Factual error: The show is set in 1982. However the dedicated song on the radio is Mötley Crüe's "Shout at the Devil", which wasn't released until September 1983.
Episode #1.2 - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When Jamie and Dave are trying to drive around the old couple, you see Jamie's window is all the way down, but a few feet later when they run out of gas, we see Jamie roll his window down to talk to the couple.
Episode #1.8 - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: Towards the end, as everyone's gathering outside, Ken Marino has his hand in the front pocket of his shorts. The shot switches to a view from behind, and it's in his back pocket. Back to the front, and it's back where it was before. (00:22:10)
#TBT: House Destiny Introduction Retirement - S3-E19
Factual error: It shows John's last flight as a TWA pilot before retiring in 2006 - TWA ceased operations in 2001, so he couldn't have flown for them nearly five years later.
