Factual error: Colonel Meyer's promotions are listed in his SS ID card as Hauptmann, Oberstleutnant and Oberst. Since the SS used a different ranking system from the Wehrmacht, they should actually be Hauptsturmführer, Obersturmbannführer and Standartenführer.
Revealing mistake: As the guy is being pinned down by the giant hooks you can see for over a minute he can simply escape and slip his hands out. (00:52:30 - 00:53:30)
Factual error: In his crude attempt to replicate the Human Centipede surgical procedure, Martin employs several handyman tools, including a carpenter's staple gun (using T50 staples as sutures). Problem is, carpenter's staples would never join soft human body tissues, they'd pull right out with little effort (T50 staples only join to very solid base materials, such as wood). Martin's victims, hysterical as they were, could have freed themselves from the T50 staples almost immediately.
Revealing mistake: When Donovan witnesses a fatal traffic accident on a rainy night, he suffers a mild heart attack and collapses in the street. Although he's lying on his back, unprotected from the downpour, surrounded by rain striking the pavement in both foreground and background, closeups show that no rain strikes his face, his felt hat, or his clothing. Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, the bloody handprint on the car changes entirely the second time it is shown. (02:02:45)
Continuity mistake: The designated Pope has just been visited by a physician. Three cardinals want to take a stroll outside for some sweets and arts. One of the cardinals stands and rebukes them; you can see that the cross on his chest has its chain caught in a button of the vest. During the rest of the scene the chain is caught in that button in the closer views and is loose in the wider angles. (00:23:50)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Mario Tirelli at the beginning of the movie enters the clinic where he works. A blonde woman walks in the opposite direction and exits through the door as Tirelli briefly hails a nurse. At the cut, Tirelli is in the same spot as before (nothing changes in the background) but the blonde is back and with still a way to go before the door, and the nurse is far back too, with the doctor's hand not moving to greet her, in a different take entirely. Continuity mistake: Mariso Golfetto is beginning a tirade about immigrants and assaults on women. A woman gets her drink from the barman, picking it up with her right hand, completing the movement. Reverse shot, and not only she repeats the gesture and still needs to pick up the glass, but she does it with her left hand. (00:07:00)
Visible crew/equipment: The two protagonists are on their tour bus, driving to the tourist pick-up spot. When they get there and get off the bus to greet the tourists, you can see in the shadows behind them the real driver shifting into neutral and trying to sneak out of the way. (00:05:35)
Revealing mistake: When Anna's looking at her reflection in the mirror she starts rubbing her face vigorously. Look at her right cheek and you'll it's red before she rubs, result of multiple takes.
Plot hole: When the hikers heard the voice calling out for help, they were yelling "can anybody hear me" and "is anybody there" in English. Once they rescued her and they tried to talk to her, they said she didn't know any English.
Other mistake: Spoiler alert! At the end, when the sniper shoots the killer, Eve says he is 800 yards away, but within the next 30 seconds he appears at the scene. (01:22:02 - 01:22:32)
Other mistake: At the beginning, the arrival board has the cities listed in alphabetical order, but "San Francisco" comes after "San Jose" when it should come before it.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, there are spectators and the camera zooms in on a man and woman with a Rottweiler standing next to the woman. There is a glimpse of two people past the dog. The camera briefly shifts to show a woman (Sonny) walking toward the front door, then returns to the spectators. The Rottweiler (presumably the same dog) is now standing near the left side of a different man (and is not next to the woman). (00:02:02)

Deliberate mistake: The driver's side mirror would not be able to capture the view of the store that Monique is robbing - the mirror is slightly angled towards the rear of the car, plus Arthur's car is parked too close across the street. (00:00:33)
