Plot hole: The very last scene shows Mary building a wall, apparently in her belfry. But there should still be the original wall that Rose built, with the hole in it that Mary smashed in. By killing Rose / having killed Rose, she prevents further harm, but all effects that took place before that (also the building of the wall), should stay (like her scars). It is very unlikely Mary broke down the whole wall just to add another body. (01:28:25)
Factual error: During scenes set in the early Noughties (one of Dex and Emma talking on a rooftop at night, and another of Dex crossing the river on a bus), modern buildings are shown on the skyline, including the Heron Tower (2009), the tallest building in the City at the time of filming, but it didn't exist at the time the scene is set.
Other mistake: When Oscar finds the business card under the swing, the narration doesn't match the writing on the flip side of the card.
Visible crew/equipment: In the shot where Faris is running to Evans's room to get him away from his one-night stand, as she passes the staircase you can see a shadow with movements that don't coincide with those of Faris. Deductive logic can be used to determine that this shadow is that of a member of the crew.
Other mistake: In the scene near the start as Will Atenton is being driven to his house by the property agent there is a close up of the car which shows a snow covered bonnet therefore the car would not have been driven very far as the engine was not warm.
Continuity mistake: When Alan is taunting Michael about selling door knobs and Michael's back is against the door frame to the dining room, the dining room is dark; both chandeliers are off. All four characters are in the living room but as Michael responds to Alan's taunts, the lights are on, even though no one entered that room and Michael's hands were in his pockets during the exchange.
Continuity mistake: Three-quarters into the film, Jacob brings Rosie, the elephant, to Reece Witherspoon's tent. Her husband, August, appears and seconds later there is, out of the blue, a cigarette between his fingers.
Continuity mistake: When Conan first fights Remo, Conan places a blood stain on his forehead by pressing his sword to it. Remo then runs off, and Conan gives chase immediately, pausing only to get Tamara on his horse. The stain is still there when Conan mounts his horse. The next time we see them, Conan and Tamara is still chasing Remo, but now Conan's face is completely clean. It is highly unlikely he would pause in pursuit of one of his father's killers to wash his face. (00:47:55)
Factual error: The security guard in the bank is carrying a revolver as a sidearm but has semi-automatic magazine pouches on his duty belt.
Factual error: The young priest sees images of a red-eyed horse, but later, it is referred to as a mule, which looks much more like a donkey.
Continuity mistake: When Frisson is giving the adder to the girls, the adder is going to go leave the jar through the hole but in the following shot, it is resting at the bottom.
Plot hole: When Sam first encounters Dan, the headmaster, Dan reveals that he had to quit his musical career when he impregnated and married a groupie, but that he loved his daughter. Later, Sam runs into Courtney behind a liquor store, and Courtney, who is actually Dan's above-mentioned daughter, discusses her "aggro older brother". If Dan's original error in timing resulted in a daughter, how could she have an older brother?
Other mistake: At the beginning of the thrill race, Judy announces that it is Tuesday, July 7th. If July 7th was on a Tuesday, August 4th (the day Rocky performs in the circus) would also be on a Tuesday. However, the fact that Judy and Stink went to a bigfoot meeting (and then had a stake out) the day before they chased bigfoot, found Mr. Todd, and went to the circus suggests that August 4th was actually a Wednesday, not a Tuesday, because Zeke says at the beginning that bigfoot meetings are on Tuesdays.
Factual error: On the plane, Emma shows an issue of Hello! magazine featuring the heiress Grace is passing as. It's labeled as "number 1100, May 31 2010", but the May 31 2010 issue was actually number 1125. (00:30:30)
Continuity mistake: Kate's stockings change colors, from black to beige, while she's running late to work. (00:12:10)
Factual error: The car doors wouldn't protect Adam and the other police officers from being shot - they offer no protection against bullets.
Other mistake: When the evil warlock breaks his way out of the condemned house, he uses explosives to escape, but for some odd reason, the door is the only thing affected by the explosion.
Continuity mistake: Three teen boys are abducted to be killed at the church. One breaks free and finds a weapons cache and dies in that room, while his killer dies outside that room. Soon after, the preacher and his wife find the dead church member, then look into the weapons room to see two of the teen boys dead, side by side. But the second hasn't been killed yet, and dies running away from the church later, shot by the the local sheriff by mistake. (00:40:40 - 00:48:00)
Suggested correction: The second boy, the one who got shot outside, was playing dead so the church members would leave him. It is not a mistake in the movie.
Factual error: When Mitch Albom is with Rabbi Albert Lewis in his rabbinical office/study they discuss an empty folder on the rabbi's bookcase labeled "God". Religious Jews as this rabbi was, know not to spell out the deity's name, but write it as "G-d" instead.
Continuity mistake: When Laurence asks Colin for a cigarette in the screening room, he has it between his fingers when Colin lights it, but when the shot cuts, his fingers have disappeared from around the cigarette. (00:45:30)
