Continuity mistake: When Carrie confronts Dr Fury at the end, her sweater is buttoned, then unbuttoned, then buttoned again. (01:28:20 - 01:28:55)
Continuity mistake: After Esther suffocates Daniel in the hospital, Kate slaps Esther in the face. The hospital staff then hold down Kate and she drops her iPhone, screen down. The iPhone starts ringing, even though the screen is facing the floor. In the next scene, it is still ringing, but with the screen facing upwards.
Continuity mistake: When the antimatter explodes in the helicopter, the the shock-wave blasts off part of the roof inside St. Peter's Basilica, above the alter, obliterating everything below. However, in the scene where the Camerlengo self immolates himself at the altar close to the end of the movie, there is no evidence of the shock wave earlier, the candles are burning, oil lamps are lit and alter is intact. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Kayla is dead and Logan walks to her, her mouth is open in one shot, but in the next shot when his hand is reaching for her eyes, her mouth is closed.
Continuity mistake: As Derek Charles hold his cup of coffee and engages in conversation, the cup changes hands several times between shots. (00:12:25)
Continuity mistake: After the interview, in a 3/4 back shot, we see Castle putting a lollipop in his mouth. The shot instantly changes to him kissing the host's hand - no lollipop in sight anywhere. It then changes back to the original shot with the lollipop in his mouth.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning Laurie's bandage goes from bloody to white and back again repeatedly. It also gets wet, yet not even 15 seconds later it's completely dry and white.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie, the doctor invites the two girls knocking on his door inside out of the rain because their car broke down. He gives them both water (laced with drugs). One of the girls knocks her glass over, spilling most of the water, which can be seen as the glass sits on the table. Then when the doctor leaves the room, while the two girls are talking, you can see that the glass on the table magically is filled again.
Continuity mistake: During the pool sequence, we see a few shots of the pressure gauge, some close-up, some wider. In some some shots the scale goes up to 160, in others it only goes to 100.
Suggested correction: It's two totally different gauges in two different places.
Continuity mistake: When Ben is driving the car away from the store where they buy the comping supplies, the headrest in the car is missing, but it reappears in the next scene.
Continuity mistake: When Ana returns home to her husband, they converse outside the house. He asks her how it was in Monte Carlo. As he asks her this, she is entering the front door and he is about 8 feet behind, following her. The next shot shows them both in the house, and they are very close together when she answers that she didn't get what she want. (00:25:15)
Continuity mistake: Jill opens the 6th envelope to show Hoffman. When she does, the envelope instantly vanishes from her hands. (01:18:25)
Continuity mistake: When Murphy, Connor, and Romeo arrive at Doc's bar the first time, a cigarette can be seen tucked behind Murphy's left ear, but when the boys enter the bar, it is now behind his right ear.
Continuity mistake: Crowe gives the girl reporter a necklace made of ballpoint pens. When Crowe leaves and she runs after him the necklace is gone. (01:47:45 - 01:48:45)
Continuity mistake: When the car hits a rock in the start, the are leaking oil, after 1/2 minutes they walk back to the spot where they hit the rock, the oil trail is gone.
Continuity mistake: At 1:02:38, you see that the front door is closed. The scene after, when Lionel goes out of the water tank where they were hiding, the same door is now wide open. Then a bat scares him, and you see that the door magically closed back. (01:02:35)
Continuity mistake: After Megan dies, for real, Jessica tells the others that they loved Megan and Megan loved them. Her robe opens and closes between alternate shots.
Continuity mistake: The miner wounds Sarah's right forearm during the supermarket chase and the medic bandages it up. Yet, in all subsequent scenes, her arm is fine.
Continuity mistake: A spirit knocks Christine over and gives her a bloody lip. Her boyfriend tends to her lip, which is very swollen. As she sleeps, there is a close up of a fly going into her mouth between her lips that are not swollen at all. After she swallows the fly, she sits up and her bottom lip is swollen again. (00:37:05)
Continuity mistake: During the shoot-out at the Guggenheim, each of the assailants is using so many bullets that they would have needed huge bags to carry all the magazines.
