Revealing mistake: How on Earth can Selby get those skin tight T-shirts over that huge cast on her arm? They cannot possibly stretch any more than they already are - look at the scene where she and Eileen are checking the mail. There is no way that sleeve would fit over the cast without ripping! It is well beyond the capacity of that tight T-shirt to stretch to that extent! Obviously Christina Ricci had the cast fitted after she was in costume.
Revealing mistake: When Marin and Jack Nicholson first enter her mother's house, Marin is wearing white pants, and it is noticeable that she has a thong on. When she gets into bed with Jack, she is in full underwear.
Revealing mistake: When Cody is on the jet ski inside the evil guy's hideout, he smashes through some glass. The glass smashes before the jet ski even touches it.
Revealing mistake: Near the end of the movie, after Jude Law has been shot, he is lying on his back with Nicole Kidman leaning over his face. In the shot looking up at Kidman past Law's left ear, you can see the webbing for Law's wig on his left temple.
Revealing mistake: When Sarah is leaning over Tom to speak to Yuan on the intercom at the McNerney gate, Yuan is looking at the monitor in the kitchen. The monitor shows the car and there is a person wearing a white shirt sitting in the passenger seat of Tom's car. It can't be Sarah, who was sitting in the passenger seat, but now is leaning over Tom in the driver's seat, plus she is wearing a red coat. (00:03:20)
Revealing mistake: When Jack and Adam are in bed together, after Jack's "flatulent" moment, Adam tries to keep from laughing while answering Jack's question. The blanket covering Adam's face is obviously covering up an hysterical set moment.
Revealing mistake: Lizzie has black nail polish and the same size of nails throughout the entire movie. Supposedly, Lizzie and Isabella are different people. But, when Isabella comes back, you can see she has the same color nail polish and the same size of nails as Lizzie. I don't think it's just a coincidence.
Revealing mistake: At the bank there is a close-up of Mr. Darling with Sir Edward Quiller Couch standing behind him to his right, just as Nana, et al. are about to collide with the bankers. The camera pans in for the extreme close-up of Mr. Darling, who makes a horrified face. Later, when the Darlings are at the party Nana bursts in. Sir Edward again stands to Mr. Darling's right. Mr. Darling puts his hands up in front of himself and the next close-up shot is the very same shot from the bank. Part of Sir Edward's hair is edited and the background is digitally augmented. Revealing mistake: In the big scene at the children's show when David and Natalie are revealed kissing behind the curtain, many members of the audience are shown snapping picture after picture. One of the guys who is snapping away very rapidly has a "throw-away" one-time use camera. All one-time use cameras have wind wheels, meaning you can't take photos that quickly. (01:54:15)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Ray and Eva have sex for the first time, Eva is moving underneath the blanket and you can see that she has a pair of knickers on. The couple were supposed to have just finished having sex, why would she have knickers on?
Revealing mistake: Don't worry, Aunt Sally isn't really dead. She's still breathing in the shots where people come to look at her in her coffin.
Revealing mistake: When Melanie, Tracy, Evie and Brady are in town, people can be seen stopping to watch the actors/look at the camera. (00:53:35)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Donna flies as a captain, you can see on the throttle quadrant there are three levers for three engines. There are groups of four dials instead of three for engine temperatures and pressure, and they don't even show symmetric values for similar engines. Furthermore, the altimeter reads over 3000ft, equivalent to a landing in Switzerland or Peru. Finally, there are multiple red and yellow lights on the panel; these colors only come on as a warning like low cabin pressure or engine fire.
Revealing mistake: When Ashton Kutcher drops all the mice, it is obvious that one of them is a toy mouse.
Revealing mistake: In the scene in which Honey is distributing posters with her father, as the camera pans out after they put up the poster you can see "Queen Video" on a sign across the street, indicating not New York City but Queen St. W in Toronto. (01:15:00 - 01:16:00)
Revealing mistake: During the still photo shoot, the photographer asks Harris to pause so he can change films. The assistant can be seen sliding the lightproof cover into the film magazine on the back of the camera, and then immediately removing the sliding cover, all without actually changing films or magazines.
Revealing mistake: When Griet has her left ear pierced in order to wear the earring for the portrait, the cloth covering her hair and ears stops just short of covering a well-healed hole in her already pierced right ear.
Revealing mistake: When the song "Forever part of me" is right after the scene were both Kelly and Justin are talking to there friends about finding one another, right before the song begins the camera pans to Justin and behind Justin in the left side of the screen there is a guy lip-syncing to the words. But the words in the song have not started yet.
Revealing mistake: Toward the end of the film when Catch has been left on his own by Barbara, and it begins raining heavily, he doesn't look like he is getting very wet. As the shot pans out, you can see on the street, that the rain is falling everywhere except for a perfect square around Catch, due to an off-shot prop.
Revealing mistake: In the motel room when Alec Baldwin hits Natalie, she hits the mirror, which shatters. She then has cuts all over her face, but there's no bleeding. All the cuts look like they have dried blood already. (01:16:50)
