Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie, Sarah and Tom are at the airport returning from their honeymoon. While walking through the airport, Tom pushes Sarah and she gets coffee spilled on her shirt. Later, when she approaches Tom in the parking lot for a ride home, the coffee stain has suddenly disappeared from her shirt in this shot. (00:02:15)
Continuity mistake: When the guys are looking at Andie's purse on Ben's desk, the two handles are sticking straight up but the close up shot shows the front handle folded over, and then the next wide shot shows them both up again.
Continuity mistake: Unable to make his shadow stick Peter is upset and when Wendy surprises him he zooms up to the ceiling and bangs his head. In this shot the light fixture hangs flush with the ceiling under a decorative medallion around the base. Later, when Peter floats to the ceiling after John says, "You offend reason sir" the fixture now hangs way down on a very long chain. (00:15:00 - 00:21:15)
Continuity mistake: When Cody Banks crashes a rocket propelled snowboard into a tree, Ronica Miles meets him using a jet pack. When she lands, she unbuckles herself and all the straps are seen free. After a shot of Cody's snowboard in the tree, it goes back to Ronica and she begins unbuckling herself from the jet pack again.
Continuity mistake: After Sarah has called at Harry's office, Harry prepares to open his office door to see her out. The camera cuts back to Sarah for a moment, then back to the camera angle on Harry as she walks to the door. In that short space of time, the sliding cupboard doors have changed their configuration, and the blinds in the upper left of the frame have partially closed. (00:18:45)
Continuity mistake: During the dance sequence for "That's the Way (I Like It)" Kelly's shoes change twice: at the beginning she is wearing open-toed black shoes, then she is wearing sneakers for about two seconds, then back to the open-toed shoes and finally to the sneakers for the remainder of the scene. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci are in the car and Christina is driving, the camera pans to Charlize smoking a cigarette. The first shot it is half way done, the 2nd time it is at the filter and then again half way done and then it's gone and she lights a brand new one. (01:10:05)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Lizzie's parents are seeing her off for her trip to Rome, she first walks away from her family after exchanging hugs and the legs of her pants are rolled up. She then turns around and walks back for a second hug with her mother and when she turns around and walks away from the family a second time, her pants are no longer rolled up.
Continuity mistake: When Daphne goes into the Hotel in London, she walks through the door and loosens the scarf around her neck. When she turns around to look at Ian, her scarf is tightened around her neck again.
Continuity mistake: As Tracy throws her socks into her trashcan, and then her teddies (both from the bed and from the wall,) in nearly every shot the teddies differ positions/return/disappear etc. (00:08:00)
Continuity mistake: When Erica and Harry are having a picnic at the beach, they go for a little walk and it starts raining. They hurry back into the house and, the first time they are seen in close shots, they're absolutely dry. A couple of seconds later, in other two different close ups, they appear to be soaking wet.
Continuity mistake: When Jack speeds out into the road in the Land Rover, there are several cars in the background. However, in the next immediate shot, when we look out the back window, there are completely different cars behind them. (01:07:35)
Continuity mistake: As Honey Daniels is introducing the dance benefit in the very last scene, the chain she's wearing jumps from outside her shirt/top to the inside and back a number of times between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Bob puts Charlotte into her bed, he first lays her down with her skirt slightly pulled down so that her belly button is showing. In the next shot, the skirt is pulled up to meet the bottom of her shirt-barely any skin is visible. (00:52:15)
Continuity mistake: When Frances leaves her house she takes the blue vase. Only boxes of books were moved, the vase was seen on a desk at camp Divorce, however when the boxes of books arrived in Italy and she opened one, she took the vase out.
Continuity mistake: When Lila's staff are gossiping about the "new sweetheart of America" Christian raises a glass and toasts, "Hear hear!" There is only one glass, but in the next shot Lila is holding it. Also, in the following shot, Christian is holding his hands together and no wine in sight. (00:13:45)
Continuity mistake: When Natalie tells Bernie about her son, the lock of hair hanging down in front of her right eye disappears and reappears randomly throughout the scene. It's present in only about half of the frontal shots, and no shots from any other angle. (00:37:20)
Continuity mistake: When the Fighting Temptations are performing at the Gospel choir contest at the end, the convict with the high voice is dancing with only one handcuff attached (you can see him try to hide the other end, which is flapping around). In a subsequent shot, he has both handcuffs attached again.
Continuity mistake: When Alex and Emma are at lunch at a restaurant talking, Emma holds her fork up. The fork has a little orange carrot on it. It cuts to Alex, then when it shoots back to Emma, instead of a piece of carrot, it is something lumpy and yellow. It does this repeatedly.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene, in the bathtub with Stifler's Mom, the amount of soap bubbles on Finch's head changes between shots. (01:33:40)
