Continuity mistake: Inman is watching Ada through her window while there is a party going on. When there is a shot of Inman's face, you can see a reflection in the window of Ada putting her hand on her father's shoulder. Then it cuts to Ada's father who is standing alone.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Frannie and Detective Malloy are standing outside the police car, after Frannie was picked up by the two police officers, outside her apartment, you can see a girl with a white shirt with black sleeves and a very short skirt passing by. After a few seconds, Detective Malloy goes back into the car and you can see the exact same girl passing by at the same direction as before and she even wears the exact same clothes.
Continuity mistake: The first time at the station, Sweetu looks back at the camera representing Aman with a confused look on her face, mouth open a little bit, teeth clenched. During the Heartbeat instrumental song when they show a flashback of the same moment with Aman in the shot, Sweetu looks at him with a big smile on her face. You can see this because when her face turns her mouth is visibly wide open and her lips are curled upward. (00:10:35 - 00:20:40)
Continuity mistake: In the scene were Hans tries to hang himself, you can see that the chandelier falls down but in the next scene when O.J the owl flies underneath it, it is still there.
Continuity mistake: When Isabelle arrives in front of Roxy's apartment, you can see the cab driver close the trunk after he removes Isabelle's bags, but when Charles-Henri hands the driver his bags a moment later the trunk is still open.
Continuity mistake: In the examination scene John (Mike Myers) places a Rubik's Cube on the desk in front of him. The camera angle then switches to overhead and the cube is not there. Then he shouts "Stop writing" and the cube is in front of him but further to his right than before.
Continuity mistake: When Angelina Jolie is chasing her son into the bedroom trying to put his pyjama top on, he is wearing a singlet. When the dad walks in and she finally gets the top on him, the top few buttons are undone and the singlet has now gone.
Continuity mistake: When Ray and Eva are at his house playing pool, they stop to talk and Ray has both his hands on top of the pool stick during the scenes shot from the front and during the scenes shot from the back he's just holding the stick by the shaft.
Continuity mistake: When Jason Lee is driving the car over the humps in the road, Julia Stiles is in the passenger seat. In the shot before they take off Jason Lee is in the driving seat, when they show the shot of the car in mid air Julia Stiles is now in the driving seat, and in the shot as the car lands they are back in the right seats.
Continuity mistake: When Julia Roberts is sitting on the couch with the male teacher, after he pours her a drink, they move the camera and show her and her drink is almost empty and then they show him and the drink is almost full. They then repeat going from her with an almost empty glass to him with her glass almost full.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at Mr Bingly's ball, where Lizzie is looking for Charlotte, she obviously notices her and starts walking towards her with her arms stretched out, palms down. In the next shot, her palms are turned upwards to take Charlotte's hands, who have hers palm down.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie, when Barbara crosses the road from Grand Central Station to catch the taxi, there is a blue car parked in front of it. Then when the shot is shown from the rear of the taxi, the blue car is gone. When the shot moves back to the side view, the blue car is back there again. In addition when the shot is taken from the side of the taxi, there is no green fence visible, however, when the shot is from the rear of the taxi, there is a shoulder-high green tubular fence on the footpath. Continuity mistake: When Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck first share the bed together, the digital clock on Jennifer's right side (viewer's left) first goes from 10:27 to 10:28 in two consecutive shots. However, in two more following shots during the same scene, the clock displays 10:27 once again, and then displays 10:28 again before the scene ends.
Continuity mistake: After Miles makes his keynote speech, he goes down the aisle and eventually Wrigley embraces him. W. is holding a program in his hand while hugging Miles. At first it is rolled up, then it is folded over, then it is rolled up again. At no time did he change it.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Halley just left from her counselor's office, Macon was going to go after her but the counselor stopped him. Then he was doing something with his hands and he had a pen. In the next shot, he sort of taps the wall, and the pen is gone.
Continuity mistake: After they have sex for the first time, Adam and Evelyn are on the floor and she tells him to smile into the camera that was filming them making love. The camera however, is pointed right at them on the floor, not on the bed where the scene started and they had the actual sex. (00:32:20)
Continuity mistake: When Molly sits in the teacups with Ray, one of her straps falls down on her arm. In the next shot where they are spinning, the strap is back up.
Continuity mistake: When Anthony Hopkins first gives Nicole Kidman a ride to her place, it is raining outside. When he gets out of the car to go inside, the entire windshield is dry and clean as a whistle, even the area that is outside the reach of the wiperblades.
Continuity mistake: When Boss and Charlie are crossing the flooded main street (before rescuing the dog), Boss is holding his shotgun pointing up into the rain in one shot, then in the next shot (from a different angle), it's pointing down, then up again and so on.
Continuity mistake: After May and Darren make love he gets up and puts his pants on. We see him closing his belt, but in the next shot where his pants are visible the belt is open again. (01:09:40)
