Question: At the end of the Chamber of Secrets, Harry gives Lucius Malfoy the diary, showing him that he knows it was him. In the Half Blood Prince we see Dumbledore at his desk mulling over Tom Riddle's destroyed diary - is this an error, or have I missed something? Was it not given back to Malfoy at the end of Chamber of Secrets?brdwyguy
Question: I know that the images in the tape represent things that happened to or around Samara, but what is the point of the nail going through someone's finger? I know they can't show every second of Samara's life so we might not see a connection, but that part of the tape really grossed me out and so I want to know if someone knows why it was put there, or was it just the gross-out factor?troy fox
Question: When B-rabbit, Future, Cheddar Bomb and Sol George park in some kind of parking structure and join in on a freestyle circle, right after B-rabbit finishes his freestyle, Sol George breaks into a song and sings, "Now I'm the dashiki smoking that ling lingy, 10 freaky girls inside the chin chingy, girl when you see me ya better believe me..." Is that a real song or did they just freestyle that?
Question: It was revealed that the person who Laurie thought she killed wasn't Michael but somebody who Michael had subdued and placed his clothes and mask on. Why would Laurie be sent to an institution for this? She wasn't aware of the fact that she killed the wrong person until the mask was removed, and since the staff seem to know about her connection to Michael, wouldn't they consider letting her go since she was only trying to stop Michael's rampage?
Question: There's a quote that I don't understand: "The fact that you prevented it from happening doesn't change the fact that it was going to happen." I immediately thought, "Yes, it does change the fact that it was going to happen." If Witwer hadn't put his hand there, it would have happened. However, he did, thus "changing the fact that it was going to happen," right? Isn't this the point of the whole movie: determinism is foolish and that different actions produce different consequences?
Question: When Anakin and Padme get married, Anakin is wearing an outfit that is often seen on Jedi and is displaying a Jedi Padawan's hair braid. Do he and Padme not care that the man who performs the wedding is seeing him (as Jedi are not supposed to have relationships and marry)? Why not disguise him? It's a huge risk to let even one person see a Jedi getting married.
