Continuity mistake: About 10 minutes into the movie, when the truck is chasing the 2 college students in the car and starts ramming them, the bumper and the trunk is smashed in. The shot changes and shows the car's rear end and it is in perfect condition. This repeats at least 3 times.
Continuity mistake: In the kitchen scene, when Frank's parents are arguing, the clock reads about 6:45 and then in the next shot, it is 6:15.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end, Denzel drives his car into 2 cars trying to get Ethan off the hood. After that scene ends you see Denzel driving the same car and the front and rear of the car look nothing like they did when he was crashing into the cars.
Continuity mistake: When Hal's co-workers bring him a cake for his promotion, Rosemary takes a slice out for herself. They change shots a couple times, and the size of the piece missing from the cake changes several times, and the layers of the cake change as well.
Continuity mistake: After the pool incident when David is writing letters. Monica is looking over the letters that David has written. There's a point where you can see that she's still holding at least 2-3 sheets of paper but when the camera shifts back to the writing there's only one in her hand. There should be more than one paper in her hand. And when viewed from behind her back the sheets are neatly lying on top of each other, when seen from the front, the sheets are tilted. (00:46:43)
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before the final attack on the castle, D'Artangan is surrounded by his fellow Musketeers. He gets off his horse and while doing so there is a tight close up where you see clearly that he is wearing his Musketeer outfit that he threw down on the floor in the previous scene. When he finishes talking to the horse (and he is back in his normal clothes) Porthos hands him the Musketeer uniform, which D'Artangan then puts on. (01:20:45)
Continuity mistake: After Harry Zidler first sees Christian and Satine kissing, when they stop kissing, Satine's lipstick switches from being smeared to perfectly done and bright red when she walks and when Zidler is talking to her about having to end the infatuation.

Continuity mistake: Watch the first kiss scene between Reeves and Theron. Keanu's shirt drops to the floor, yet you can clearly see it on his shoulder in every other shot. The camera switches angles multiple times, so this is easy to spot.
Continuity mistake: At the big dinner, Clarisse tries to show the Japanese man some pictures and he shakes his head as he eats his green soup. A minute later, they serve the green soup.
Continuity mistake: After Joe picks his daughter up from her mother's, they drive into Minneapolis. While Joe is talking to his daughter, you can see Macaroni Grill and Galyns out the window as they drive past. After a quick shot of the daughter, when the camera is back on Joe, if you look out the car window again, they are passing the same establishments.
Continuity mistake: When John's wife is in the bathroom she drinks all of the water in a cup, but when she throws it the cup is full again. (01:29:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Rafe is fighting for Britain his plane gets hit. As it goes down into the water, it is day. Later when they show him swimming out of the plane and to the surface, it is night. (00:41:30 - 01:10:10)
Continuity mistake: Her bruise from being shot in the vest appears and disappears and reappears, also moves from her left to her right side.
Continuity mistake: The three Marine helicopters leaving the carrier are three UH1N Marine model helicopters. When they arrive in Bosnia to rescue the downed Navy pilot the same helicopters become two Bell model 205C and a Bell 412. When landing back on the carrier with the rescued pilot, they are again N models. (01:26:50)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of film, Peter Boyle's character opens a newspaper, and on the front page is a story about a death row inmate who is scheduled to die "tonight." However, he does not die "tonight," but rather the following night. On the evening of the day on which the erroneous newspaper headline appears, the prison guards gather at a local bar. The next day, the prisoner is taken to a special cell to await his execution, which occurs TWO nights after the newspaper headline said he was to be executed. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: When Brittany Murphy writes down the number on the glass she writes it backwards because that's how she sees it in her mind. Watch closely, though, and you'll see a perfectly normal 2 which isn't written as a mirror image of 5. Later, when Michael Douglas realizes this catch, he looks at the piece of glass again, this time from the other side, and the 2 has turned into a 5, which apparently was written in a different style. Continuity mistake: At the beginning when Chris and his band go to the concert, they are in the front standing next to the stage. However, when the camera cuts to show the entire audience, different people are standing where Chris and his band were. From that view, Chris and his band are not even in the audience.
