Continuity mistake: After Kathleen (Meg Ryan) and Joe (Tom Hanks) talked about what it would have been like if they hadn't been enemies in the book business, Kathleen says she has to go and heads off to her apartment. During this time, the camera switches back and forth between Joe and Kathleen. Kathleen's right sweater sleeve cuff is by her wrist in one shot and rolled up by her elbow in the next. Revealing mistake: Just after they dump the tacks out of the window, the Russians' car flies up into the air in a really quite impressive car crash. Just before it flips over though, you can see the huge ramp put in front of it. (00:32:20)

Revealing mistake: When there is a car crash, and a motorcyclist flies over one of the cars, as he rolls towards the windshield we see the whole windshield intact. Then when the motorcyclist rolls and hits the windshield, large cracks are clearly visible, way before the man hits the glass. (01:00:30)
Revealing mistake: When Puffy the dog bites Ted and pulls him along, Ted digs his fingernails into the floor, they scrape along, making marks. If you look very closely you can see faint pre-made marks made in the floor, where he drags his nails along. (01:28:45)
Continuity mistake: When Julia is explaining the conspiracy to Rick in the stairwell, the position of Rick's hands in front of his face change between shots. (01:03:25)
Deliberate mistake: While Laurence is driving to the park trying to find Martha there are closeups of his car en route, and one of the closeups of the front left side of his car is a flipped shot, note the backwards "Saab" and the surface damage which is actually at the right side of his car. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Murdock is in jail talking with Emma on the phones through the glass, he presses his fingers to hers, against the glass, & the glass shatters. Right when it is shattering & he pulls away, if you look very carefully you can see the reflection of his hand in an additional pane of glass that is still there! The next shot shows no glass as they kiss, but when the original glass breaks, there is still a pane of glass remaining, as evidenced by the reflection of his hand. (01:05:08)
Revealing mistake: When Hunt is bringing the eagle egg to Shaquinna, he trips over a log and the egg goes spinning through the air, during which time you can see the wire that the egg is attached to. (00:59:15)
Continuity mistake: During a scene where the boss of the TV station is talking to his staff, when he finishes he takes off his glasses and starts to move off his chair. Yet in the next shot he gets off the chair still wearing his glasses. (00:07:30)
Continuity mistake: When Casey and Delilah watch Nurse Harper get infected by Coach Willis from inside a closet, the closet's shutter windows switch from closed to open between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: When Duke leaves the Mint Hotel and drives in the desert, the camera frames on a big cartel that reads "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada." Its shadow is projected on the road and with it also the shadow of the camera crane that shoots the scene. (01:01:24)
Continuity mistake: Velma adds books to the pile in front of her when she takes the telephone order. Looking down the pile, you don't see any trace of the random loose papers that appear when she hauls the whole lot to the desk with the TV on. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: After Chris is dead, and his wife is writing in her diary, and she writes "I still exist" as she's writing it, exist is written "EXST", then when she looks to read what she wrote it reads "EXT". The writing's different too. (00:22:10)
Continuity mistake: In the flashback, where Victor's parents ask him who his favourite Indian is, before he walks out the door, there are two girls on the porch playing with a sparkler while leaning on the rail, facing away from the door. In the next shot, in a close-up where Victor comes through the door, the girls are now leaning against the exterior of the house next to the door, facing each other. No sparkler in sight. (00:25:11)
