Continuity mistake: Arnold goes to the gay bar to solicit the help of the guy he saved at the beginning of the movie. The guy is wearing a white shirt and a vest black/gold lamay. During their conversation he takes off the vest, then it cuts to another bartender. When it cuts back the guy has the vest on, another shot and the vest is off again. (00:08:05 - 01:10:50)
Continuity mistake: When the cow blows by the truck, the truck is driving down an empty dirt road with water on both sides. During the shots of the occupants, the road behind the truck is paved and dry. Also in one of these rear shots a truck (Red Chevrolet Blazer) drives by in the opposite direction. (00:42:25)
Continuity mistake: During the early part of the movie, there are a number of references to the Blackhawk crew, yet the wreckage is that of a Huey.
Continuity mistake: When Jon Favreau talks on the phone for the first time, there is an answering machine next to it. Then when we see the phone system again the answering machine is gone. Then Jon walks into the next room and when he walks back the whole phone system is gone. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: When Jennifer Tilly is in bed wearing some kind of skimpy pink thing, only one strap is always on her shoulder, but between shots it changes from left, to the right, back to the left, repeatedly. Every two or three shots.
Continuity mistake: At one point Snipes jumps into the ocean to save his son, and when it shows a close-up on his face, you can tell it's not him. It's a pretty weak stunt double.
Continuity mistake: When Jack is in his new classroom for the first time, he sits at a metal desk. He falls with the desk when he tries to reach his book bag, which is sitting next to a broken wooden desk. Next, he sits in the same - miraculously whole - wooden desk, then proceeds to break it to smithereens.
Suggested correction: Watched several times, he moves to the desk to the left of him that doesn't have a chair attached.
Continuity mistake: Coach Orion throws the puck at the bulletin board and makes a hole in it, but when he walks out of the locker room, the hole is gone.
Continuity mistake: During the prison revolt, Tally interviews Fernando. How is it possible to cut from Tally to Fernando, when the interview is a live feed with only one cameraman (Nat)?
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, the priest hands Evita a goblet of wine. Before she can drink, she faints. the goblet drops to the floor but it is empty. (01:45:50)
Suggested correction: I'm sorry but the goblet is not empty. When she drops it on the floor you can see a small splash of a dark coloured liquid on the marble floor of the church. People may assume that there should be more visible liquid from the goblet but if Evita was the only one taking of the wine, then there would be only a small amount inside the goblet.
Continuity mistake: The nurse changes position in the church.
Continuity mistake: Jamie steals a gay magazine at a newsagent. Before he pinches a copy, there are three copies on the shelves. When he pinches it the number of copies on the shelf indeed changes from three into two, but when he leaves the shop, lo and behold, there are three copies on the shelf again. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end, Danny Aiello fires at James Spader, and we see a brief close-up of the door frame being hit - there are two bullet holes seen in the door - one above and just to the left of the other. Then we cut away, and when we cut back and see James Spader looking around the door frame, there's just one bullet hole.
Continuity mistake: In the first scene where we see David Helfgott, there's a mark on his ring finger, probably made by a wedding ring. In that scene David isn't married.
Continuity mistake: When the former owner of the studio is asking for money, the boom mic is clearly visible throughout the entire scene above the heads of the two actors.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie Sally Field is applying her make-up in a small cosmetic mirror. She accidentally hits the mirror with her brush and attempts to put it back in position. However, the viewer is now able to see the camera and crew behind her shooting the scene in the cosmetic mirror.
Continuity mistake: When Bowen first catches up to Draco under the waterfall, he is completely soaked as he stands there and talks to him. Draco takes off flying and Bowen goes after him on his horse and is now completely dry, hair and all.
Continuity mistake: Before Bonnie's operation to remove her scars they can be seen across her back and down one arm, yet in at least two scenes before the operation she is seen wearing sleeveless or very short sleeved tops with no scars visible.
Continuity mistake: Liam Neeson pulls his jeep over on the side of the road, he and his son get out. Blinker is on. They walk around and talk for a little bit, and all the sudden the blinker's off.
Continuity mistake: When we first see Daniel in the taxi and the guy jumps in the back, when Daniel removes the steering wheel from the car the armrest has all four electric window switches present but when he changes the wheel whilst driving with Emilien in the back for the first time, the armrest only has one switch meaning a right hand drive modified car was used in motion shots. Hard to spot but its there.
