Continuity mistake: Right before they rob the police car, a Boeing 747 (four engines) is seen in shots of the plane coming into land. When the plane is shown from behind, it is a Boeing 767, with only two engines and fewer main landing gears. (00:30:10)
Continuity mistake: When the two female characters enter the fancy hotel room, they make a point to say they will only be there for a couple of minutes. It is daylight when they go in. The visit is cut short (the one that's supposed to be a few minutes long) because of a gun battle in which one of the women dies and the other escapes. The escaped one gets out through the roof into an evening's sky. There's still light visible, but for a visit that lasts all of 4 minutes, it's far too quick a change. (00:23:00)
Continuity mistake: Chili Palmer goes to DeVito's house and parks his mini van next to the curb facing one direction. When Chili gives DeVito the keys for a test ride, the mini van is now parked facing the other direction on the street.
Continuity mistake: When they are in the car with heavy rain, you can see the pedestrians are NOT using umbrellas or wearing raincoats. It’s also raining far harder on the left of the car than the right. In addition, Somerset is turning the wheel to the right, and yet they’re driving in a straight line. (00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: Stallone is eating a banana when he is on the computer in the Mariott. He takes a bite and the banana is smaller, then in the next shot it is bigger again.
Continuity mistake: When Dredd is talking to Hershey in her wrecked apartment the cut above his eye runs across his eyelid but later on when he's talking with Rico in the Janus lab the cut follows his eyebrow and doesn't touch his eyelid.
Continuity mistake: When the bad guys try and kill Antonio Banderas in the bookstore, after killing about the third bad guy, you can clearly see his gun lock on an empty chamber, but there's a cut and he immediately carries on shooting.
Continuity mistake: When Remo Gaggi is talking to Andy Stone about Ace cussing out the Board, there's a pack of cigarettes beside Gaggi in his car. The camera angle changes to show Stone's face, who is outside the car, and when it flips back to Gaggi, there is a Zippo lighter in place of the cigarettes. The camera goes back to Stone, and when it comes back again, the Zippo is gone and the cigarettes are back. And to top it all off, not once did Remo smoke in this scene.
Continuity mistake: When the two heroes are crashing through the city in the taxi, the car takes a significant beating. The bumper is pushed up from rough landings and there are long scrapes down each side. When Zeus skids to a halt outside Wall Street station the taxi is in almost perfect condition.
Continuity mistake: When Angela and her friend are dancing to the music, in the next shot you can see her walking past on the bottom right hand side of the screen, wearing different clothes too. (00:18:58 - 00:19:10)
Continuity mistake: When Plague first goes to visit Dade, Plague asks the agents to leave, and as he is closing the door there is no blue jacket hanging up on the door, but when the camera cuts to a shot of the door, a blue jacket has appeared. (00:39:35 - 00:40:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Robin steals the Batmobile, the first shot of his joy-ride shows twin fins on the rear of the batmobile on 45 degree angles, in the following shots they are all standing directly vertical. (01:02:40)
Continuity mistake: In the last scene on the roof when Holly Hunter shoots the serial killer, he falls backwards. The gun is in his left hand and the path is next to his left hand. The camera then goes to the rear of Sigourney as she walks toward Holly. Only now the serial killer is on the other side of the path and the left hand holding the gun is no longer next to the path.
Continuity mistake: When De Niro confronts Ashley Judd in her motel room, he knocks all but a few hangers off of the metal coatrack. While the camera goes back and forth while they argue, the remaining hangers disappear and reappear several times.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Johnny and Kamal are going out for a night on the town, they first walk into the place and they go to their seats. Notice the Reserved tag on their table -- when they sit down, it's gone.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Max cuts down the bridge and the real scout master dives after Max cuts it down, in the backround in the top left corner you can see the scout master get up, then when the camera goes to the scout master, he gets up again.
Continuity mistake: After Sandra comes out of the shower of the motel, she combs her hair while listening to the news. When she watches the TV it changes from a Sony to a Sharp.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the boxing fight between Wesley Snipes and Jennifer Lopez her cross pendant disappears and reappears between shots. (00:48:30)
Continuity mistake: When they have just poisoned Charles Durning, Mark the painter falls to the floor pretending to be sick. During this scene the stopper in one of the bottles is out, then it's back in, then out and so on.
Continuity mistake: When Jackie is fighting the gang at their place the black shirt he is wearing gets dirty one shot and is clean the next shot.
Suggested correction: It's for effect to show they were hanging out around the airport for more than a bit.
There's no evidence this was meant to be a montage scene of various planes. The cuts they did have in the first angle were of the same plane getting closer to build suspense. Same for the other angle. Plus, there's no scenes or shots of "them" waiting.
