Other mistake: After they take off from California, Kirk gives a heading to Alaska. He then tells Sulu "full impulse power", and Sulu says "aye, ETA 12 minutes." Full impulse is 1/4 the speed of light. No way they would use speeds like that to go a few thousand miles.
Factual error: That is not a crocodile that attacks Sue. It more closely resembles an American alligator - the squat, rounded snout gives it away. Australian crocodiles have a much sharper, more angular snout. There are other tell-tale physical features, most notably the placement of the alligator's teeth when it closes its mouth, but that's the main one.

When Soundwave ejects Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage & Ratbat we see them flying through the air transforming simultaneously and and both Rumble & Frenzy are coloured the same (red & black) when Rumble is supposed to be purple. Continuity mistake: The cave bear tears the head off the man with the blue eyes. In the very next shot there is no trace of blood anywhere on the bear.
Revealing mistake: When Ratigan is sneaking up on Basil inside Big Ben, there is a shot where both characters have their backs to the camera. In this shot, there is a piece of equipment directly in front of the turning gear they are standing on. This piece of metal can be seen to flicker for a few moments.

Continuity mistake: The film is supposed to take place in 1917, but several of the german soldiers our heroes encounter are armed with Bergman M18 sub-machineguns which didn't appear until a year later. To make things even worse all the guns comes with a magazine-type that didn't appear until the mid-thirties.
Continuity mistake: When Tiger and Fievel are doing their musical piece, Tiger wipes off the mirror and they appear the same size. When he lays out in front of the mirror, singing the line "We'll be there to pick each other off the floor", he places his head next to the cage bottom, still laying on the floor between them. Continuity mistake: When Jack Burton and the rest of the gang escape from the Wing Kong Trade Centre the first time, the guards fire at the left side of the bus breaking the windows and making holes in the bodywork. When we see the bus a few seconds later as it is driving away, it appears undamaged.
Other mistake: When they first get into space and Tish removes her helmet her left earring is free floating, which would be expected in zero gravity. Other mistake: How does Dola know that Sheeta's pigtails were shot off? They had been outside in their aircraft the whole time and once Dola got Sheeta in a tight hug, the situation doesn't call for any time for her to explain what happened.
Visible crew/equipment: When the Overlord is busy destroying the Diner, when he starts destroying stuff on the counter, you can see the small rods pop up that flip the saucers and glasses into the air. You can also see the compressed air they used, to aid with the effect.
Factual error: In the scene outside the pub, a Ford Sierra is seen driving past. These were not introduced into the UK until Autumn 1982. The film is supposed to be set in 1981.
Factual error: Throughout the film, they play one of Strauss' Four Last Songs, which is credited as being "September." The song actually played is "Beim Schlafengehn."
Suggested correction: You can tell by the shape of the snout and the ridges above the eyes that, although animatronic, it is meant to be a Marine Crocodile that is native to Australia. It doesn't resemble an American alligator, which doesn't possess those pronounced ridges. Also, freshwater crocodiles can be seen in the boat ride scene where Mick motions for Sue to lean up off the edge of the boat. They have the narrower, angular snout that you referenced.
The placement of the alligator's teeth when it closes its mouth shows that it is more like an alligator than a crocodile. In fact, the animatronic puppet is a bizarre mish-mash of physical characteristics of both crocodiles and alligators.
