Continuity mistake: In the final murder of the episode, the smashed pieces of the vase change position on the floor between shots; easy to spot when you go by the floor tiles and the grid they form. (00:19:25)
Continuity mistake: Inspector Ressler is struck across the temple on his left side in the scene at the "bawdy house". He holds a hanky on that spot later and there are no visible marks to the right side (his right) of his face. Then, in the street scene afterwards and while looking at the Swedish Bakery he has marks on his right temple. Those marks are no longer there in later scenes such as Claxton's office. Continuity mistake: Joanna Lumley has long hair tied back while driving her car but much shorter hair subsequently.
Episode #1.3 - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: Poirot is talking to the owner of Twinkle Toes and confirms that indeed the victim was strangled with his merchandise. The man listens with his fingertips adjoined and pointed towards Poirot, but when it cuts to his response ("Poor kid") his left hand is partially in frame and in a different position altogether. Continuity mistake: When Theresa and Ben walk down the road leaving town, and run into the woods from the Sheriff, Theresa's roller suitcase falls over on its 'back'. A minute later, when Ethan catches up to them, the suitcase is on its 'front'. (00:36:30 - 00:37:30)
Continuity mistake: Christian is wearing a blue polo shirt, standing outside the luxury van in which Letty and Javier are being held captive. When he gets in the van, from that point on he is wearing a tan jacket over his shirt.
That's Enough. Off You Go. - S2-E6
Continuity mistake: When Maddie first meets Cy at the nursing home there is a gin case open in the foreground, but he offers her gin a few moments later and only then opens the box..
Continuity mistake: While the Agents are reviewing the courthouse security footage, they zoom in on the unsub's license plate number "28K-XK8" on the video feed. Barnes states aloud that it's "28K-XQ8" and Remy asks which employee drives a vehicle with that plate number, then the Courthouse Vehicle Directory shows "28K-XQ8" as the unsub's license plate number. Continuity mistake: When originally interviewed, Ironside holds up the police sketch. It is evident that it still is a bit rough as it has a line across the eyebrows. Later in the televised broadcast, the picture is completed, no roughness at all.
The Gloaming - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: When we first see the guy in the tunnel, he runs to the left in the first shot. The next time we see him, he runs to the right.
Continuity mistake: When Jonah confronts Meyer after the death of the surgeon, Meyer's holding a drink in his left hand as he turns to face Jonah. The shot changes angle and the drink is suddenly in his right. (00:48:40)
Episode #1.6 - S1-E6
Continuity mistake: The paramedics zip up a red body bag containing Helen, who was killed in the fire. But they wheel out a black body bag a few minutes later.
Continuity mistake: Celeste and Madeline are in the car and greet Bonnie, who's hiking. In the immediate shot of the copilot mirror's reflection Bonnie is nowhere to be seen.
Continuity mistake: Kate and Donny are having a drink after they close the bar. She's alternately holding the bottle by its neck or much lower down. (00:24:00)
Episode #1.2 - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When the equivalent of Miss Debenham tells the Colonel that reaching the 12 people figure might be difficult, her hands and the secretarys are in a different position compared to the previous shot (hers are raised, his are crossed in a different pattern). (00:45:45)
Continuity mistake: Myron enters his own office after bailing the Simons out, and tells them to get out. Rick, sitting on his chair, lowers the hand with a cigar, but in the reverse shot Gerald McRaney is still smoking it, it's right in his mouth. (00:19:00)
Family Day - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: When Harry first picks up a water balloon and throws it, his hands are now empty. In the next shot, he has a blue water balloon in his hand. When he throws that one, you see it's a pink balloon being thrown.
Lost & Found - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: The way the shower curtain is draped over Todd's shoulder changes throughout the scene when he and Dirk are by the dumpster.
Continuity mistake: A whimpering housemaid rushes down the stairway, frightened by an intruder on the second floor. Doctor Watson gallantly charges upstairs to investigate, plunging his left hand into the right side of his jacket to retrieve his trusty Webley revolver as he advances on the camera. However, the shot immediately cuts to Watson withdrawing the revolver with his right hand from the left side of his jacket. (00:29:55)
