Character mistake: When Holly and Amber go to see Amber's uncle at the Bistro, they say the 'report' is due tomorrow. However that day will be Sunday (no school!), as previously it was mentioned that the day was Saturday.

Character mistake: Sarah after speaking to Sky when they come back from Havana and the thugs leave from playing the crap game she goes in the Mission she reaches for the light string to turn off the light she doesn't ever get the string in her hand but the light goes off.

Character mistake: According to her biography found in the library, Elise was born November 11, 1885, but William Robinson tells Richard that he met Elise when she was 16 years old, in March, 1903, at which time she would have been 17.

Character mistake: Gail reads right through Katie's poor excuse about crotcheting, and says she won't go to the ball "after what you pulled today with Guy." She did not do it (well she didn't do anything, but 'supposedly did') today, but yesterday. (00:31:00)

Character mistake: Tony, as a cop, should've known to cuff Rose's hands behind her back. He also apparently doesn't cuff Harriet properly as she's left outside with them dangling from one wrist.

Character mistake: During the military parade, check the lady behind the soldier on the left. She can't help stare at the camera the whole time before the soldiers arrive. (00:07:03)

Character mistake: When Modoc is suggesting what type of blood to drink, he suggests pigs blood B-. Swine don't have B blood. They have A and O blood only.

Character mistake: Jean rolls, kneads, and flattens the dough a few times, repeating the steps to give the image of still preparing the dough. After the dough was flattened, it was well-shaped (round, higher, and more compact) then flat again. The way she was shaping the dough suggests she was making biscuits, but biscuit dough should not be handled that much (or the biscuits would be flat and not flaky). (00:18:00 - 00:19:00)

Character mistake: Tom goes with Hannah to meet with the reverend who will be conducting the ceremony. Hannah (and the credits) say his name is Rev. Feiten. However, Tom refers to him as Rev. Flint.

Character mistake: When Marisa boards the bus in the beginning of the movie to take Ty to school, she is on a Bx1 bus on the Grand Concourse and 173rd St going southbound. However, it is obvious Ty attends PS 33 on Fordham Rd and Jerome Ave in the next scene which is north of their location. It doesn't make sense at all for her to get on a southbound bus when she should be on a northbound bus. The 4 train is shown in the distance going uptown while she is walking up the stairs to the Grand Concourse. Why didn't she just take the train uptown since it stops at Fordham Rd in front of the school but instead she chose to get on a downtown bus? She is basically going in the opposite direction in real life.

Character mistake: A priest is holding a globe with a fire to light the globes carried by others. There are two lines with globes approaching the man with the lit globe. The first person in the line from the right has trouble lighting their globe. She starts to return for a second try, but apparently thinks better of it and continues on with the unlit globe.

Character mistake: Tenango is a destination/rendezvous town, but at the luncheon a character refers to it as Durango.

Character mistake: Tatiana Romanova asks a local policeman for help. Lutfen is Turkish for please. Tatiana says Luften, which means warm. (00:14:30)

Character mistake: Co-worker Todd Pearlman tells Tracey, "Everything is going to change around here once I get the 'editor in chief' position. Hey, but don't worry. Nothing is going to change between you and I." The word "between" is a preposition and the correct prepositional phrase is "between you and me" - something a high school student should know and a basic grammar skill required for any editor or employee in a writing-related agency (publishing company). (00:14:02)

Character mistake: When Marian is correcting Amaryllis for the girls' poor grammar in saying "can I" instead of "may I" over the cross-hand piece, the girl then asks if she can go play that cross-hand piece and Marian replies, "now you can play your cross-hand piece."

Character mistake: When Randy is introduced for his semi-final match, he comes out to "Rock of Ages" by Def Leppard. The announcer says the song is by the "supergroup" Def Leppard. A supergroup is comprised of band members who were previously successful solo artists or band members prior to joining this band. Def Leppard is an original band. None of the band members were famous or successful prior to this band. (00:03:00)
Suggested correction: At best, this is trivia. Perhaps if the announcer was in the music business and knew the music jargon, it could be seen as a character mistake. I myself never knew "supergroup" had a specific meaning until you mentioned it. To me, it sounded like he just thought Def Leppard was super. Like calling them a totally radical group, despite no members being radicals - someone who wants complete political or social reform.

Character mistake: It sounds like the person who called him on the cell is not a secretary but also Cameron Diaz pretending to be a secretary. The same voice. (00:07:12)

Character mistake: Lucy says the source of the quote "To err is human" as Alexander Pope's "An Essay on Man." The quote actually originates from Pope's earlier work, "An Essay on Criticism."

Character mistake: When Cadence meets the group at the airport and Finch comments "you're reading Descartes", she responds by utterly butchering the line "cogito, ergo sum." Odd that a student of Descartes would be unfamiliar with how to pronounce his most famous statement-somewhat analogous to a student of Einstein not knowing e=mc^2.

Character mistake: The tour guide inside the "Degenerate art" exhibition ridicules the 'child-like' paintings of the likes of Mondrian and Kandinsky. In particular he stands in front of Kandinsky "Upward." The German name of the work is "Empor", but the tag says "Empore." (00:03:40)
