Character mistake: Just after the birth of Mona's child, Farhan recollects "uss waqt agar Virus kehta kay mera pouta engineer.". In fact the child is not his "pouta" but his "nata"
Character mistake: When Wallace and Davis start performing together, they show the newspaper "Variety" with five different headlines. Three of those papers have the same story, "Old Trooper Dies."
Character mistake: After Rosemary has the baby and they tell her it died, she calls them liars. They give her an injection and she passes out. When Guy comes back, he says that the Doctor says she was suffering from prepartum (not an actual word) symptoms. It would actually be postpartum.
Suggested correction: Actually, it depends on which time her 'crazies' were from. If Guy was referring to how she acted while still pregnant, then pre-partum would be correct. If referring to her tantrums after the birth, then it would be post-partum.
The post starts. " After Rosemary has the baby...".
Character mistake: When Chessy confronts "Annie" when she's presenting her with the big breakfast, she's talking about when Annie was on the phone the night before. Then she says her father overslept, when she actually meant to say and "and you overslept," as the conversation doesn't make any sense saying that the father overslept. (00:58:00)
Character mistake: At the scene at the dinner table where Pat and Tiffany meet, the prescription drug "Trazadone" is mispronounced with a long A as in "trayzadone." This a fairly common drug used for depression and as a sleep aid. Any nurse or pharmacist could tell you the correct pronunciation. Interestingly, the other lesser known drugs were pronounced correctly.
Character mistake: Before they jump off the plane Halloran should at least have checked if Sellinger has his parachute strapped on properly, knowing that the other guy has absolutely no experience. (01:05:55)
Character mistake: In the scene where the photos of Daphne are flashing by, you see her in a photograph which was supposedly taken at the Chelsea Charity Auction. In the caption, "auction" is incorrectly spelled "aution."
Character mistake: In the President's speech he says that 'The Bible calls this day Armageddon'. That is not correct. In John's Revelation 16 verse 16 it says 'And he gathered them on the place which in Hebrew is called Harmageddon'. Even aside from spelling variations, Armageddon is a place, not a point in time.
Character mistake: In the beginning of the film, Oliver has been brought by Mr. and Mrs. Bumble to the Governor's door after asking for more to eat. Mrs. Bumble then sings, "They'll lay the blame on the one who named him," and as Mr. Bumble is responding, "O-li-ver", look at Oliver. He is completely spacing out and not in character at all - staring off into the distance and flicking his tongue in and out of his mouth.
Suggested correction: The character is in character, he is acting alarmed and concerned and regretting his choice to inform the governor. As seen https://youtu.be/nlJugdk4OGc.
Character mistake: In the scene where Maverick flies into Iceman's jetwash, as they are descending, Maverick calls out the altitude as 6,000 however the metre is displaying between 2,000 and 3,000. (01:04:25)
Character mistake: Stoddard in class says the founding document of the country can be added to with amendments. Pompey says it is the constitution written by Thomas Jefferson. Stoddard says 'declaration of independence'. Pompey was right, Stoddard incorrectly corrected him. It IS the constitution. The declaration can't be added to with amendments.
Character mistake: When Jamie is first speaking to Aurelia, he says "molto bueno", which the housekeeper woman tells him is Spanish. 'Molto' is actually Italian. (00:38:30)
Character mistake: After the dance when Monique and Lane meet for the first time, Lane says to Monique, "Hi, you're that French kid staying with the Dorkheads...uh...Smiths next door." But the Smiths live across the street, not next door, as evidenced by several scenes in the movie (i.e. Monique looking out her window upon arrival, Monique throwing fruit at the street sign, etc.). (00:47:40)
Character mistake: When the candidates are sworn in, after Foley is thanked, he salutes and does an about face. He then steps off on his right foot. No Marine NCO would do this.
Character mistake: When Lucky the dog is chasing Slick the cat, into John and Ariel Gustafson's house, Ariel yells out her husband's name, she actually yells out the actor's real name Jack instead of John, the character's name. Pay close attention, it could be easily missed. (01:07:10)
Character mistake: When Malloy first visits Frannie in her apartment, he says the girl was killed on the 15th, but when Frannie is in the cop car for the first time, Malloy's partner says it was the 11th.
Character mistake: When Barry Lyndon is talking to his mother privately, while standing on the bridge overlooking the water, Barry's mother refers to Barry's son Brian as being "at the mercy of his stepbrother", meaning Lord Bullingdon. They have the same mother. Lord Bullingdon and Brian would be half brothers, not step brothers.
Character mistake: When Vivian is in the tub singing "KISS" by Prince, she sings the verses in the wrong order. Not a big mistake, but a noticeable one for a Prince fan.
Character mistake: If you ever called a Marine Sergeant Major "Sarge", he would probably kill you. It just wouldn't happen. That's an Army thing. Also, Marines say "ooh-rah", not "hoo-ah". That's also an Army thing.
Character mistake: When Dean Martin desribes his writer's block to Judy Holiday, she says that she keeps sharpening his Ticonderoga pencil until there's nothing left but the "Ti," but in fact what would be left on a little nib is the "ga."
