Plot hole: When Grug is trying to escape from the explosion behind him he sees Douglas and says "Douglas! Hey I know that guy!" This is not possible since he neither knew the name of the creature or was nowhere around when Douglas was with Thunk.
Suggested correction: Thunk might have told him who Douglas is.
Plot hole: After Little John bores a hole in the bottom of the treasure box, several gold coins fall through the hole. The four rhinos holding the box should have felt it becoming lighter.
Plot hole: When the Gales' house lands in Munchkinland, Dorothy picks up Toto and glances around the house. She looks right out the window. Wouldn't she have noticed that she wasn't in Kansas then, before she got to the door? (00:19:05)
Plot hole: Why did Inspector Gadget put his glove on his right hand? We see a toilet brush in place of his hand with a glove on it, yet when he's flying through the air doused in toilet water, he has his glove back on.
Plot hole: In the scene where The Commander and Jetstream are called to fight the giant robot, Will's mom says "What if he forgets his lunch?" In every scene where he's eating lunch at school, Will has a school lunch.
Plot hole: Summer vacation couldn't be taken away just because it is winter, (or just snowy), they could just go by the date.
Plot hole: Kerchak is mad with Tarzan because he showed Jane, Porter and Clayton to the gorilla's current location. Yet he does not move the group even though he obviously knows they're no longer safe there.
Suggested correction: He does actually move the group later on in the movie. Then they get ambushed by the hunters and he is killed.
Plot hole: Close to the end of the movie when Sykes is chasing Fagin on the train tracks Jenny says Fagin's name. Fagin also seems to know Jenny's name as well because he says her name and tells her to jump. How did they know each other's names?
Plot hole: When the Slate Co. boss turns the lever in the casino from "WIN" to "LOSE", how could he know which games Fred was playing?
Plot hole: Towards the end of "The NeverEnding Story 2", Bastian's dad became aware of his son's adventures in Fantasia. Yet, in this film, he reacts to the news about Bastian stealing the NeverEnding Story as if he's never heard of the book before. Adding to that, he does not recognize the Auryn on his son's sweater nor does he know what it can do.

Plot hole: After being hit with the spores, Cobra Commander cannot walk or even move very well with any speed at all. The Cobra minions have to drag him to their prison with the Joes and just leave him there on the ground after the Joes make a break for it. The Joes go quite a distance to engage Cobra. Road Block is delayed only a couple seconds behind the other Joes when he is grabbed, but knocks out the minion who grabbed him. Suddenly, Cobra Commander is at his feet telling him to wait because it's a trap. Later, Road Block has to carry Cobra Commander because he still can't move much. There's no way Cobra Commander could have caught up with Road Block to warn him of the trap. (00:52:50)
Plot hole: Mater tells McQueen he moved and looked like he just saw the Ghostlight. Sheriff gets on to Mater for talking about the Ghostlight and then their whole plan falls into place to trick and scare Mater with the blue lantern. Only there's no way they would have known that Mater would have mentioned the Ghostlight after that. McQueen didn't know about it, supposedly. And he had been scared by Mater and had been there enough that he would have known if Mater had mentioned it before, and Mater would have known he told McQueen. (00:01:55)
Plot hole: The spell Magicae Maxima works, but it shouldn't have worked at all because there was one ingredient missing, the petrified spider.
Suggested correction: The spell works because Winifred believes it is a petrified spider. It also works because she believes that Billy Butcherson was her lover; which he wasn't, as stated several times in the movie: in the flashback scene, Billy mentions it several times to Gilbert, and especially when Sarah tells Winifred that Billy was her (Sarah's) lover, to which Winifred replies that Sarah was just a fling; so the spell can work with incorrect material as long as Winifred, as the main witch, believes it.
Plot hole: When and how does Uma put a spell on Ben? She couldn't have when he was captured on the ship because she didn't have Mal's spell book at that point. Mal doesn't drop her spell book until after they rescue Ben and are on their way back to Auradon. Does Uma have powers of her own? So why would it matter if Uma got Mal's spell book?
