Continuity mistake: When Hallie wants to get a popsicle/lemonade, her hair bobble is green, but in the next shot it is white and then changes back to green again. (00:24:30)
Continuity mistake: When Lyra is walking through the palace to meet King Ragnar of the Ice Bears, there are a great many bears all around her, with a few following her right up to the king. She gets to the king, and when the shot pans out to the hall, suddenly all the other bears are gone. Even if they all left the hall, it would take more than a second or two to do so.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Pacha and Kuzco are drying off after they fall over the waterfall, the slot for the wearer's head in the center of Pacha's poncho is clearly visible when Kuzco takes it and uses it to dry himself off. Following the shot change between when Kuzco throws it and when it lands on the fire Pacha is trying to light, the poncho becomes just a solid green square towel with no hole for the wearer to put his head through, which is easy to see when Pacha hangs it backup on another tree. Continuity mistake: When Sharkboy and Lavagirl burst into the classroom looking for Max, there is writing on the blackboard ("Science, Chapter Two") written in yellow chalk. Strangely, later in the scene the writing is now written in white chalk, and the handwriting of the text is noticeably different. Then, later it goes back to yellow! (00:16:45 - 00:17:40)
Visible crew/equipment: As the Power Rangers are running out of Maligore's temple as the volcanic pit erupts, in the shot from behind them all running out, down the path, if you look to the right of the screen, in the bushes you can plainly see two crewmembers standing there; one in red trousers and the other in a blue shirt holding a drink. Continuity mistake: When Chihiro talks to Kamaji about taking the train to see Zeniba, she says "Yep, I'll walk back along the tracks," and turns around, and the little mouse and bird are sitting on her left shoulder. It then cuts to a wideshot of Chihro walking over to Haku, but now the mouse and little bird have vanished from her shoulder. (01:27:15)
Continuity mistake: When the Minion dressed as a maid answers the door, there is nothing next to it. When the shot returns to the door after the Minion has been taken, a umbrella and a holder for the umbrella have suddenly appeared. (00:21:50)
Visible crew/equipment: As the Batcoper emerges from its hangar, multiple crew and equipment are reflected in the cockpit's glass bubble. (00:04:05)
Continuity mistake: When Puss in Boots plants his sword in the ground then jumps out of his boots, his sword, boots and hat are nowhere near any trees or grass. Yet after attacking Shrek, Puss in Boots lands in his boots, and his boots, sword and hat have moved to being right beside a tree. (00:32:30)
Continuity mistake: When Uncle Billy sees Potter in the bank, he walks to the teller window and there's no line, but a second later there's a line of a dozen or more people behind him.
Visible crew/equipment: When Tom and Dylan are hanging from the chandelier, there is a shot of the ceiling showing the chandelier coming loose. Then when it cuts back to Tom hanging from the chandelier, in the background behind him is a crewmember holding a boom mic. (00:24:15)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Willy Wonka and the group of golden ticket holders enter the room with the chocolate river, Willy Wonka picks up a mushroom head with his cane. If you look closely, you can see holes under the mushroom head where he has previously done this, probably more than one take for that scene.
Continuity mistake: Justin, the boy with the toy aircraft running away from his mother, towards the pyramid in the beginning of the movie, has the toy in his left hand while going up the ramp, while falling and as he begins traveling up through the air but when the angle of view changes it is in his right hand until he lands on his father. Continuity mistake: When the squirrel gets stuck between the 2 glaciers he gets stuck at the bottom of them, but then it shows him getting fired out of the top of them. (00:02:49)
Suggested correction: Scrat may have got sucked up to the top.
Or squeezed all the way up and spat out. Either way Scrat is a much cartoonier character than the others and more extreme things happen to him.
Visible crew/equipment: When Splinter throws Shredder over the wall, Splinter's puppeteer is visible. (Full screen only).
Continuity mistake: When Lady Ginette finds the cigar box containing the jewels in the freezer, there's two round gold things on it. The shot later, one of the object is smaller. Ice also appears on the box.
Continuity mistake: After Gromit runs away he starts looking at signs. In one shot, a blue sign goes over the one Gromit is reading (Room to Let), but in the next shot it's not. (00:12:20)
Other mistake: In the scaring simulation room, the alphabet wallpaper border at the top of the wall has the "J" written backwards.
Suggested correction: The walls of the room also have nonsensical drawings like a giraffe with two heads. The implication is that the monsters designing the room didn't entirely know what kids would actually have in rooms (like they didn't know that giraffes don't actually have two heads). So they thought that humans have the J backwards.
Whether or not the backwards J was intentional or as a joke, it would still seem unreasonable for the monsters to get it wrong when you see they got the pictures for each letter seen correct "jaguar", "kangaroo "pig", "quail", "rhino." I would at the very least call it a character mistake.
As the original correction said, it's just an example of the monsters not understanding the human world. Not a mistake.
Yet they know the alphabet? I doubt it.
Continuity mistake: After Evangeline has left with Aunt Adelaide, Nanny McPhee enters the children's room, and as she and Chrissie walk to the bed they pass Eric's, Lily's and Tora's beds, with the bare wood floor at the center - there is no rug. However, when Nanny McPhee leaves their room the long red and white rug is at the center of the floor, between all the beds. (00:51:55 - 00:52:55)
Continuity mistake: When Matilda makes the chalk write the message on the blackboard, the writing changes. Watch the "Agatha," especially. The handwriting changes and the comma changes length, as well as most of the message changing. Also at the end of the message Matilda "writes" two long lines under it, which cross over. Yet later when Miss Trunchbull flies off the globe you can see there is just one line under the message, not two. (01:20:20 - 01:23:00)
