Continuity mistake: At the cemetery, when Harry is trapped at the statue, Voldemort raises his right arm and places his finger on Harry's forehead stating, "I can touch you now." While Voldemort's arm remains raised his sleeve slides down towards his shoulder, but is back up at his elbow in the close-up. He seems to have the same problem in other shots during this scene. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mike Teavee has smashed up the red pumpkin-looking thing, he smashes it cleanly into two or three quite big pieces. When his father says "Mike, please" the pieces behind him are much smaller and all over. (00:41:35)
Continuity mistake: In the fight between Barkis and Victor in the church, Victor slashes at Barkis with the fork and leaves 3 very noticable tears in Barkis' jacket. These tears aren't seen in any of the subsequent shots. (01:09:15)
Continuity mistake: When Sharkboy and Lavagirl burst into the classroom looking for Max, there is writing on the blackboard ("Science, Chapter Two") written in yellow chalk. Strangely, later in the scene the writing is now written in white chalk, and the handwriting of the text is noticeably different. Then, later it goes back to yellow! (00:16:45 - 00:17:40)
Continuity mistake: After Evangeline has left with Aunt Adelaide, Nanny McPhee enters the children's room, and as she and Chrissie walk to the bed they pass Eric's, Lily's and Tora's beds, with the bare wood floor at the center - there is no rug. However, when Nanny McPhee leaves their room the long red and white rug is at the center of the floor, between all the beds. (00:51:55 - 00:52:55)
Factual error: When Chicken Little is in his bedroom, after he scored during his baseball game, he looks into the spoon he is using as a microphone to see his reflection. He looks into the side that is curved away from you. When you look at that side of a spoon your reflection is upsidedown, but Chicken Little's was right side up.
Continuity mistake: When the Pevensies are playing hide-and-seek, there's a shot of Lucy running up the stairs. If you look closely, she is wearing the dress that she wears in her third time to Narnia, not the dress that she was wearing when she goes through the wardrobe into Narnia for the first time. Continuity mistake: When Holly is meeting Ben for the first time and Holly's friend says, "Sounds like she's not into romance," Holly is eating a spoon of ice cream in the shot from the front. However, in the shot from the back, Holly's hands are on the table.
Continuity mistake: After Danny gets mad at Walter for catching the ball that his Dad threw for him, he throws his glove down on the floor and runs inside. In the next shot the glove is in a different location.
Continuity mistake: When Alex tries to get Melman out, he is lying near the sea, but when Alex tries to get him out with the tree, he is farther away from the sea.
Continuity mistake: When Casey is skating on the pond after she leaves Harvard, she falls multiple times. The second time she falls, she lifts her right leg causing her foot to come into frame. On her feet you can clearly see that she's wearing black and green snow boots, even though seconds before that she was wearing white figure skates.
Continuity mistake: Japhet the goat steps on a chair but it disappears in the next shot.
