Character mistake: In the Air Force One scene, when lightning destroys one of the plane's engines, one of the pilots tells a co-pilot to inform Metropolis Airport that the president is on board the plane. The crew is unnecessarily repeating themselves: just a few moments before, they radioed in that "Air Force One" was on approach; the plane would only have that call sign if the president was on board.
Character mistake: Hellboy's stone hand is on the wrong side when he's fighting the first giant. (00:32:50)
Character mistake: When Rosie sticks her revolver in Bond's room and Bond flips her onto the bed, Bond incorrectly identifies the gun as a Smith and Wesson .38 which would make it a model 10 or 15. It was actually a Model 19 .357 Magnum.
Character mistake: Ryan's final diary entry says the US Cavalry fought against "French irregulars." The French lancers were actually regular troops.
Character mistake: At the meeting of the MVD and FBI where they are discussing Terek's hiding place, she mentions that he's in the town of Porvoo and that it is 60 kilometers west Helsinki. Porvoo is actually 50 kilometers northeast of Helsinki. (00:12:45)
Character mistake: Throughout the film, the characters refers to the seigneurie as Beaufort or Beaupré, which are actually two different places.
Character mistake: At the beginning of the movie Marty is turning on a huge guitar amplifier. The two switches for the filaments are misspelled. They are shown as "filiment." (00:03:25)
Character mistake: When the police scan Leeloo the first time, the computer reads "Commencin" instead of "Commencing."
Character mistake: The Matterass twins are playing a video game, and they argue about whether to destroy Milwaukee or Minneapolis. They decide on Milwaukee but destroy Hibbing Minnesota.
Character mistake: It's merely training, but her opponents are hostile and want to exclude her from playing, so it's funny then that they don't call Kim out for her actions being egregious fouls; she brings the ball trapping it between her feet in multiple cartwheels (you can't just hold the ball between your feet for prolonged amount of times and 'carry' it). You could also say she kicks the ball at an opponent's face on purpose, which is equally unsporting. (00:24:00)
Character mistake: When Mick arrives at walkabout hotel, Nugget introduces himself to Mick as if they have never met before. Yet in the first movie, Nugget is asking how Mick is getting on in New York. It may be just a case of over familiarity by Nugget but it doesn't make a lot of sense.
Suggested correction: It's quite possible that they haven't met, but Nugget's heard about Mick, e.g. from the people in the bar, stories, etc. Having no doubt heard so much about Mick, Nugget probably feels like he knows him, at least enough to ask how he's getting on.
Character mistake: As Lex is studying the recording of when Superman's body vanishes, he says "A 19 second black out at 3:47 AM." But the clock on the video shows it goes from 3:47:05 when the blackout starts, to 3:47:26. The blackout was 21 seconds, not 19. (00:45:55)
Character mistake: The name on the sign of the pub/private members club of the Manchester United fans is spelt incorrectly: It should read "The Feisty Goat" but Feisty is misspelled on the sign as "Fiesty" instead.
Character mistake: In her first walk through the city with Dr. Ido, after feeding the dog her sandwich, Alita takes a flyer and reads it. Between the lines that read "Wanted" and "Murder" there is a line in Spanish that says "Querido para el asesinato." It should say "Querido por el asesinato".
Character mistake: When the American hands over the wills to Ian Fleming he calls him Lieutenant Commander, but when Fleming turns up at the camp he has gold braid on his cap - only commanders and above wear gold braid. Also they kept calling the RAF guy Flight Sargent but he didn't have a crown above his stripes.
Character mistake: Declan tells Ethan that 162 (meters) is "pushing minimum height for a (BASE) jump." This is not the case. It's not uncommon for jumps to be made from sub-100m heights. In fact the lowest BASE jump was debatably made from the hand of the Christ the Redeemer in Rio at 29 meters. However it must be said that jumping between buildings, like in the movie, is extremely dangerous and carries even more risk than just normal BASE jumping. (01:22:20)
Character mistake: In the original Transformers, the final battle takes place in a fictional city known as Mission City, which according to Lennox is 22 miles away from the Hoover Dam, putting it close to Las Vegas. However, when Sam is in his dorm room, it's stated that the battle was in LA.
Character mistake: During the scene in the diner, there is a sign that reads "EMPLOYEE'S ONLY." There shouldn't be an apostrophe.
Character mistake: When Nicolas returns from Mexico and goes to the gate of his house, he sees a sign that says his house is being sold at public auction. The word "foreclosure" is spelled incorrectly. It is spelled "forclosure."
Character mistake: Why is Electra using Windows 2000 (still in beta at the time) to survey her oil empire? (I think it's just after she's asked M to come and help her) You shouldn't use beta software for anything important....
