Train to Busan (2016)

Continuity mistake: Just after Seok-woo calls to send Kim to his office, he looks at an article of a mysterious fish death at Jinyang Reservoir. He puts his hand over his face when he does this, but when Kim walks into the office in the next shot, his hand is no longer over his face. (00:04:30)

Continuity mistake: When Seok-woo gets off the phone with the client, he clears his desk and picks up the phone again to make another call. In the shot where he first picks up the phone and presses the button, his fingers are at a curled angle and his little finger is pressed against the back side of the phone. In the next shot, his fingers are suddenly in a more relaxed and his little finger is positioned along the side of the phone with his other fingers. (00:04:17)

Train to Busan (2016)

Continuity mistake: Whilst Seok-woo is on the phone with the client, in the shot where he says "This could be based on a false report", he is shown with three fingers wrapped around the phone. In a close-up shot, he suddenly has four fingers wrapped around the phone. This continues for the next two shots where his little finger is shown curled against the side of the phone, then wrapped around the phone again. (00:03:40)

Other mistake: When the truck goes through the checkpoint in the opening scene, it is sanistised and cleaned with a water spray. We can see that water is sprayed across the driver side window, and then the driver roles down the window to talk with a worker. Once he has left the checkpoint, he is shown driving down the road with the window roled up again, but the water that was sprayed on the window appears to resemble tiny droplets. The water would have been wiped away when the window was roled down, or at the very least would have been smeared across the window. No way would the water appear as droplets sprinkled over the window. (00:01:20 - 00:02:00)

Train to Busan (2016)

Continuity mistake: Just after the truck driver has drove past the quarantine checkpoint, his phone rings and attempts to reach for it. At first, he is sitting with his back against the seat and extends his arm to reach for the phone. A close-up shot of the phone is then shown where he continues to reach but gets no further. In the next shot, the man is then shown leaning his body out of his seat and forwards towards the phone even though he was sitting with his back against the seat when he began reaching and his hand was not seen moving any further toward the phone in the previous shot. Other mistake: When the truck driver his the deer with his truck, he steps on the brakes and stops the truck instantly. Just after the truck is shown bumping up and down after hitting the deer, outside the window, we can see the driver travels a small distance until the truck stops, maybe three of four meters at most. When the man is getting out the truck, we can see the distance between the truck and deer is much further than what was shown between the time he hit the deer and when the truck stopped. (00:02:14)

Lolita (1962)

Deliberate mistake: When Humbert is walking through Quilty's mansion at the start of the movie, a bottle is placed near the top of a chair covered in a sheet, which is later revealed to be covering Quilty; the bottle is also shown to be placed on top of Quilty's head. This same scene is shown a second time at the end of the movie, but the bottle near the top of the chair cannot be seen. There is a second bottle on Quilty's lap that can be seen in both the two scenes, but the bottle on Quilty's head cannot be seen the second time around. The two scenes were likely filmed two seperate times. (00:02:50 - 02:32:18)

Lolita (1962)

Visible crew/equipment: When Humbert is asking Lolita who is the man he is looking for, just after she asks him if he remembers Doctor Zemph, Humbert asks if it was him, to which Lolita replies "Not exactly" before walking into the kitchen. Whilst Humbert is saying "I didn't come here to play guessing games" as Lolita walks to the kitchen, the shadow of a crew member, most likely a cameraman, can be seen cast on the side of the television. It cannot be Humbert's shadow as his shadow is cast on the couch and on the window behind him. (02:22:20)

Lolita (1962)

Visible crew/equipment: When Humbert and Lolita are sitting in the car and watching the car behind them after pulling over, Humbert starts getting pains in his arm and chest. As Lolita is saying "Maybe you ought to see a doctor in the next town", Humbert is leaning his head down against the steering wheel, and then says "No, it'll be all right", before lifting his head up again. The shadow of a boom mic can be seen passing over Humbert's head whilst he begins to lift his head up. (02:06:17)

Lolita (1962)

Trivia: When Humbert first sees Quilty in the mansion, he asks him if he is Quilty, to which Quilty replies with "No, I'm Spartacus. Have you come to free the slaves or something?" This is a reference to the scene from the movie Spartacus, where the slaves who have been recaptured by the Romans all announce that they are Spartacus to try and protect Spartacus when he tries to announce who he is. This is also serves as an in-joke as it was Stanley Kubrick's previous movie, which he made before doing Lolita. (00:03:36)

Lolita (1962)

Deliberate mistake: When Humbert shouts Quilty's name when he is in his mansion, a bottle can be seen rolling off a chair covered in a sheet in the background. It is then revealed that Quilty was sitting on the chair, with the sheet covered over him, and the bottle was placed on top of his head, over the sheet. It is also shown that him waking up was what caused the bottle to roll off the chair. The bottle's position on the chair before Quilty awoke could not have been possible. Even if Quilty was able to place the sheet over him before passing out, he could not have been able to place the bottle over his head and he could not have been able to balance the bottle over his head whilst he was asleep unless he remained completely still all throughout his sleep. This was likely done deliberately as a way of letting Humbert and the audience know where Quilty was, but still make little sense in the context of the movie. (00:03:25)

Lolita mistake picture

Other mistake: In the opening credits, there is one credit that reads "Miss Winter's costumes by Gene Coffin." This is meant to be referring to actress Shelley Winters and the man who provided her costumes, however the apostrophe has been put in the wrong place. Since her full surname is Winters, putting the apostrophe in between the R and S in incorrect. The apostrophe should have gone after the S to spell out "Miss Winters' costumes" and not Winter's. Train to Busan (2016)

Continuity mistake: When the worker at the checkpoint is explaining to the truck driver that there was a tiny leak at the biotech district, he is shown wearing a mask that is pulled down underneath his chin. When the camera changes to a different angle, the worker's mask is now pulled over his chin to be positioned just under his lip. (00:01:30)

Other mistake: When the truck driver gets his truck cleaned at the start, he starts to drive forwards to a worker at the quarantine checkpoint. The wide shot shows the truck driving towards the worker, but when the shot ends, the truck has not quite gone passed him. We are then shown a shot of the truck driver stopping the truck and rolling down the window. In the shot, the driver is shown looking directly to his left to be face to face with the quarantine worker, right as the shot begins. There's no way the driver could have been immediately looking at the worker at the start of the shot as the truck had yet to go past the driver at the end of the previous shot. (00:01:20)
