Continuity mistake: When Calculus is showing Tintin and Haddock the airlocks in the rocket, there are three levers shown, two of which are level with each other. Continuity mistake: As the students exit Rob's class, the principal walks in to talk to Rob. When the camera is on the principal as he is walking into the room, there is nothing on Rob's shoulder, but in the next shot, the strap on Rob's bag has suddenly appeared there. Then in the next shot, he is shown placing the strap over his shoulder. (00:01:35)

Continuity mistake: Plankton is questioning Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob for the formula whilst they are stuck inside a mechanical hand. The area where the screw is located can be seen on both sections of the hand, on the right and left hand side. In some shots the right side of the hand completely obscures the screw on the left side, and in some shots not. Also, in one shot, the screw changes colour and becomes white.

Continuity mistake: When the bell rings at the end of Rob's class, the time on the clock in the classroom reads 3:00. A couple of shots later, the students pick up their belongings are shown walking out of the room, and the time on the clock is now 3:02, though only seconds had passed. (00:01:25)

Audio problem: When Calculus is telling Tintin via the radio that he, Haddock and the detectives are headed out to a nearby mountain range, he can be seen inside the tank as he is communicating with Tintin, but his mouth is never shown moving. (00:26:00)

Continuity mistake: In the tank, Haddock removes his helmet and he starts banging his head due to the bumpy moon surface. The shot cuts to an angle of the tank driving and the helmet has suddenly reappeared on his head. (00:26:50)

Revealing mistake: Haddock asks Tintin if he can control the rocket's nuclear reactor and takes hold of the lever. It is apparent that he is not holding onto the lever. He is merely just miming the actions of grabbing onto the lever, when the lever is shown just below where he is holding. (00:18:40)

Continuity mistake: On the ship, when the man walks onto the deck, he is standing a few inches away from the lining on the floor. After the cat meows, he turns to leave, and he is suddenly standing directly on the lining on the floor. (00:06:15)
