Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends

Coal - S1-E18

Trivia: The studio that made the Thomas and Friends show didn't have the budget to buy a bunch of coaches, so in order to save money, they painted one side tan and the other side green and white. This probably explains why the coaches keep getting flipped. They always show the same side of the coaches so that no one will tell the difference. This resulted in a goof.

Trivia: Some episodes in Seasons 1-4 and 20 are based on the Railway Series Books written by the Rev. W. Awdry.

Trivia: In the shot of the butler saying: "You are wanted on the telephone." A picture of a Victorian-style train with a moustache from the Railway Series is seen on the wall behind the butler.

Bill, Ben and Fergus - S7-E3

Trivia: According to a SiF interview, Fergus' model was damaged during filming of the landslide scene. His model still worked, but the flywheel couldn't turn anymore, nor could he puff anymore steam. This could be why he never appeared again after the airing of the seventh season.

Pop Goes the Diesel - S2-E12

Plot hole: When Duck and Diesel leave the shed, Diesel follows Duck instantly, but the tracks they are on both lead to the turntable. As they are on different tracks to each other, it would be impossible for Diesel to follow Duck that quickly as the turntable could only be set to one track at a time.
