The Legend of Zelda

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, Link is watching a blacksmith working on a horseshoe. The first shot shows the horseshoe getting hit by the hammer on a blue anvil. The shot changes to show the blacksmith himself, and suddenly the anvil is almost twice the size it was. (00:29:50)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Right in the beginning, Link is watching a blacksmith working on a horseshoe. The close up of the horseshoe shows it a goldfish orange color. The very next shot from further away shows it as a white silver. (00:29:55)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Zelda casts a spell on her hair to curl the back of it up in a sort of fancy pony tail. She is looking in a hand held mirror at that moment and turns her head sideways to see her hair in the mirror. Her mouth is open and she is smiling. The next shot shows her reflection and suddenly her mouth is closed. (00:30:10)

Continuity mistake: The house that has the wheelbarrow by it has the blacksmith shop very close by and visible from side angles. But when the distance shot shows Zelda beside it and the Tin Suit grabbing Link's leg, the blacksmith shop, as well as the tree beside it, have disappeared. (00:30:25 - 00:31:55)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: There is a tree beside the blacksmith shop as shown from the distant shot when the Tin Suits arrive. It is quite tall and has a good thickness to it. Then when Link kicks the crossbow to Zelda, the tree is behind her and now it is much shorter and skinnier. It is not an effect of the angle or distance from the camera. (00:30:25 - 00:31:25)

Continuity mistake: Link and Zeda are in front of a blacksmith shop at the beginning of the episode. It is very bright inside the shop and the smith even ignites a large fire with lightning from his fingers. But when the Tin Suits arrive, there is a shot showing Link and Zelda from a distance in front of the blacksmith shop. The doorway of the shop shows it totally dark inside, pitch black... or more a very dark brown. Then the very next shot of a close up of Link shows the inside of the shop as a solid dark blue. Continuity mistake: As the Tin Suits show up, several shots show a wheelbarrow next to a house. There is a window on the second floor where the barrel is tied up. The first shot shows the window open. Then the shot where the Tin Suits are advancing, the window is shut. (00:30:30)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: The ground opens up and shows a bunch of Tin Suits marching out. The shot where Link takes off towards the wheelbarrow shows at least 8 Tin Suits marching. Difficult to tell exactly how many, but I see 8 pairs of legs in the group. When Link flies through the air towards them, there are only 5 that can be seen. Link fights 5 and 4 of them are dispatched by him and Zelda. There is just 1 left as the Octorok arrives. That still is only 5 Tin Suits when at least 8 were seen moments before. 3 have just disappeared. (00:30:30 - 00:32:05)

Continuity mistake: When the Tin Suits arrive, there is an orange wheelbarrow sitting next to a house close to Link and Zelda. In the shot showing the Tin Suits marching towards our heroes before Link runs to it, the wheelbarrow is about half the size it was, if not smaller. (00:30:30)

Continuity mistake: The enemies that Link refers to as Tin Suits emerge from the ground as it folds up, making a cave. They are not a long way off from Zelda and Link. After Link draws his sword and Zelda hops out of the coach, the shot switches back to the Tin Suits. Now the cave they just made has disappeared. It did not sink back down into the ground as when Link lands in the middle of them, the cave is seen behind him. (00:30:30)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: As the Tin Suits advance on Link and Zelda, the shot showing the whole group has a wheelbarrow by the building. There is a rope going up from it to a barrel tied up in the air against the house. By the angle of the rope going up and away from the wheelbarrow, and the relative position of the barrel against the side of the house in relation to the position of the wheelbarrow, you can tell the barrel is not above the wheelbarrow, but tied up in the air behind it. But when Link charges the wagon and slices the rope to use like a human catapult, the barrel falls straight down right into the wagon. (00:30:35)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: As Link is launched through the air towards the Tin Suits, it shows the Tin Suits making a V shape with their formation. Watch the one on the left of the guy at the bottom of the V. He has his body facing left. The shot changes to Link landing and now it is facing right. (00:30:40)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Link throws some Tin Suits through a wall of a house. The close up shows the break in the wall is relatively clean, the separation being with the edge of the bricks. But then then shot changes to a far shot and the break is suddenly very crooked and jagged, the bricks now being snapped and sharp edged. (00:30:55)

Continuity mistake: While fighting the Tin Suits, Link kicks two of them into a wall. They hit next to a barred window and the wall crumbles. This shot shows the inside of the building as light, bright, and white. But the immediately following shot from by Link shows the inside as dark and blue. (00:30:55)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: One of the Tin Suits throws its spear at Link and knocks Link's sword into the air. It comes down and stabs the top of a house sticking up. The distance from it and the top of the roof looks to be about two feet, give or take a few inches. But the next shot from a distance, the distance between the sword and the top of the house is now about half that. (00:31:10)

The White Knight - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Link knocks one of the Tin Suits to the ground after seeing the ruby appear. He steps over one of the Tin Suit's legs going to get the ruby. As he does, the Tin Suit's legs are both down flat. But the shot changes to a close up before it trips Link, and suddenly its knees are up. (00:31:35)

Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: When the Witch of Walls grabs frog Link's tongue to inspect it, the first shot shows the hole in the wall from where she came out has vanished, then it's back again in the next shot. In the same two shots, her hands change from being right on top of his hand and left on bottom, to left on top and right on the bottom of Link's tongue. (00:10:25)

The Ringer - S1-E1

Question: Once Zelda and Link confront Ganon on the road, he summons more skeletons up and they surround Link and Zelda. 7 Skeletons against Link and Zelda. So what's Link's plan of action? He takes off his belt and wraps it around himself and Zelda, strapping them together back to back to fight the 7 skeletons. This to me seems like it would just hinder their mobility. So my question is what is the really point of Link strapping himself to Zelda like that while surrounded? does it actually make sense to do that?

Quantom X

Chosen answer: It'll be to ensure that they're always facing directly away from each other, 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, meaning between the two of them they've pretty much got 360 degree coverage. Otherwise there's a chance they might end up at say 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock, leaving themselves exposed from another direction.
