The Ringer - S1-E1

New this month Continuity mistake: The shot from behind Ganon's throne shows a view of the walls at the base of his stair case. On the left there are some brown, thick stalagmites rising from the top of the wall on the left, and parts of them are drooping over the wall hanging down. You can also see on the right side of the screen that no such wall exists on that side and it opens up into a different path. When Ganon teleports down from his throne and is standing down there, the stalagmites and their hanging parts are gone. Also there is now an identical wall on the other side that was not there before. It also appears that the stairs coming down from his throne are more of a straight line shape now instead of fanning out. And lastly, the tall curved walls out in the middle are very tall, but in the other shot they are barely half the height they were compared to the other wall. (00:06:00)

New this month Continuity mistake: Ganon teleports to his throne after killing the Moblins for their failure and it shows two column like structures sticking up from it. In this shot they appear shaped more like melted wax candles and droopy. When it cuts to a view from the other side after Ganon's close up, they look very different, with jagged edges like broken rocks. It also appears that his throne also becomes wider between shots with him having more room to sit. (00:05:45)

New this month Continuity mistake: As Ganon zaps the Moblins inside the Evil Jar with lighting to destroy them, it cuts to a shot from a distance by Ganon's throne showing the Jar. In that shot, the artist seems to have forgotten to draw the podium holding the Triforce of Power under the Jar as it has vanished. (00:05:45)

New this month Continuity mistake: After the Moblins apologize to Ganon for failing, it cuts to Ganon's eye as he states that they will be sorrier before he kills them, and it shows them reflected. For the most part, the reflection is pretty close to correct, with the right and left Moblins being flipped to opposite sides and facing like a reflection. However the Moblin in the center is not a reflection, and the tale tale sign is his feet. In both shots, his left foot is hanging down lower than his right. If it were a reflection it would show his right foot hanging down further in the second shot. (00:05:25)

New this month Continuity mistake: While Ganon is teleporting around shouting in anger at the Moblins for failing to get the Triforce, you get a clear view of the Evil Jar in his lair. It has one face on it with some horns sticking out beside the head on each side of it with some distance between them. When Ganon strikes the Moblins inside with his lightning to kill them, the camera pans up showing the face again but now there are three faces on the jar, and the horns have gotten much thicker, coming out from right behind the head. Also the ears on the face change from being more elf like ears to resembling more like bat ears. (00:05:35)

New this month Continuity mistake: As Ganon is teleporting around angry at the Moblins before he kills them, he stops just short of his giant evil jar and he has no shadow behind him, even though the Triforce of Power's podium casts a shadow. It cuts to a high angle and suddenly he has a long shadow behind him. (00:05:20)

New this month Continuity mistake: As Zelda is patting Link on the cheek saying she knew she could count on him, you see the door next to her but it's different, with it only having apparently one small red metal part in the middle of a brown wooden door. But in the next shot it goes back to how it was, with two large red metal pieces on the door with a small area of wood between them. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: Zelda has an amateur magician grow a large plant for her to use as a sling shot. He is standing beside Link as it grows and then suddenly disappears between shots. There was not enough time for him to have walked or run away. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: Zelda has on two red earrings at the start when she's standing on the balcony in her gown. When Link whistles at her, scaring the bird away, she turns and looks up. It cuts to an over the shoulder view from her to Link and her earrings disappear. (00:01:45)

Continuity mistake: When surrounded by skeletons, Link and Zelda get back to back and Link straps his belt around them. In the first shot showing the skeletons advancing on them, neither Link nor Zelda is directly facing any of the enemies. Link is facing down on the screen towards some trees, and Zelda is facing up and to the left, towards some trees. The shot cuts to Ganon screaming "Get them!" and then cuts back to the skeletons, still in the same spot in their advance on the heroes, with no time to give them to move while strapped together. Now suddenly Link is facing directly at the skeletons towards the top right, and Zelda is directly at the ones on the bottom left. (00:12:50)

Revealing mistake: In rage, Ganon kills the Moblins for their failure and then teleports to his throne. He then begins talking to himself about how if he wants something done right, he has to do it himself. As his mouth moves, part of the rim of his hat won't hold its color, continually blinking from the hat's blue color, to Ganon's skin color. (00:05:50)

Revealing mistake: All the Moblins are shown to have one of their bottom teeth sticking up out of their mouth longer than the others on the bottom of their mouth. And in all of them the long tooth is on the right side of their mouth. When one charges Link, you see it's reflection in Link's sword, yet despite it being a reflection, the long tooth is still on the right side of the Moblin's mouth. (00:02:45)

Revealing mistake: After crashing on his skeleton-drawn throne, Ganon stands up and orders the remaining 3 skeletons to attack Link and Zelda. Watch his head as they pass by him. At two different times while they pass by, Ganon's head randomly jumps out of place and onto his shoulder for a frame or two, then back where it goes. (00:12:30)

Continuity mistake: After Ganon is thrown from his skeleton drawn throne, he summons more of his skeleton minions through an underworld entrance cave that pops up from the ground in the middle of the road. Link hands Zelda the bone bow as it pops up and she looks back surprised at it. In this shot, the cave entrance is a perfect triangle shape, and there are no horn structures above the opening. Then it cuts to a closer view of the entrance as the Skeletons begin marching out. Now the underworld entrance has more curved shapes to it rather than strange lines making it triangle, and horn like structures appear above the opening. The rubble around the opening that came up from the road as it rose up also changes in shape. (00:12:35)

Continuity mistake: After Ganon is blown up inside the secret entrance, the Triforce of Wisdom bounces out and lands next to Link and Zelda who are strapped together with his belt. There is no visible buckle at this time. Shot changes to a closer view on the same side and the buckle instantly appears. (00:14:15)

Continuity mistake: When the dragon first attacks Zelda, the stairs she is on are purplish pink. Moments later when Link is on those same steps, they have turned yellow and tiled. And plant pots and a small stone wall appear on the steps. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: Ganon summons some skeletons to hold up his mobile throne so he can go to the Armature Magician's contest. As they appear, the floor is blue tile. But it cuts to a close up of their feet as their robes form and the ground has turned to pink tile. It changes angle again and suddenly it is a dark purplish blue, but with no tiles. (00:06:45)

Revealing mistake: During Ganon's rant at the Moblins for failing in their attack, one angle shows two of the Moblins from behind in the Evil Jar. The one on the right is moving up and down, and his ears pass right through the glass of the jar. (00:05:25)

Continuity mistake: When Zelda is apologizing to Link for slapping him after she learns of the Moblin attack, Link crosses his arms and looks angry. He has his belt with item pouch draped over his shoulder as he does. When he crosses his arm, his arm goes over the pouch hiding it from view and the belt completely vanishes. It then jump cuts to a close up and suddenly the belt is visible again and the pouch as well, now being across his arm. (00:04:40)
