Continuity mistake: While standing on the bridge, the main characters begin running out of the tomb after they hear it begin to collapse. Joey, Tea and Tristan are positioned towards the middle of the bridge when they start running. When it cuts to a wide shot, they are positioned nearer to the left-hand side of the bridge. (00:12:22)

Continuity mistake: After Kaiba summons Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Zorc tells him his Egyptian counterpart tried that same move and failed. While he is saying this, Kaiba's left forearm is raised. When the shot cuts to focus on Kaiba, his left forearm is lowered. (00:07:48)

Continuity mistake: When Mana is restoring the Pharaoh's power, there is a bag containing the Millennium items on the floor. The bag is positioned on the brick next to the brick that the Pharaoh is lying on. But in the next shot, there is another brick in between the brick that the bag is placed on and the brick that the Pharaoh is lying on. (00:15:58)

Character mistake: Yugi mistakenly says if he doesn't get a monster out to defend himself Mai can attack him directly, which wouldn't be possible since the rules of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom arc forbade direct attacks on defenseless opponents. That rule wouldn't be implemented until the Battle City arc.
