Visible crew/equipment: When Ed tackles with the possible OD at the car wash, the bulging outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the right side of Ed's shirt, above the belt. Then, when the man passes out, the outlines are visible on the sides of Roy's, Johnny's, and Ed's shirts. The mic transmitter's outline is also visible at the back of the deputy's shirt, when he hands Johnny the ID he found in the man's wallet.

Visible crew/equipment: While Roy's in the office making out the activity report for the training center, Johnny walks over to Ed who is standing beside the map, and when they're dispatched to the overdose, as they get into the squad we can see two tape marks (one white, one black) on the floor, where Johnny and Ed had been standing.
Continuity mistake: While Ed is in the field with John and Roy, it's the three of them sitting in Squad 51 when they're en route to their destinations, but in some shots of the moving squad Ed is not seated between them, such as when they respond to the cliff rescue. Additionally, after the purse snatching incident, when they head to Rampart for John's hand injury, only one person's in the squad as it backs up to receiving, even though it should be three.
Continuity mistake: When Ed chases after the possible OD into the car wash, Roy sits at the passenger side of Squad 51 to contact dispatch about the sheriff's ETA, but each time it cuts to the car wash employee the squad is empty behind him, even though Roy is still there in his closeups.
Visible crew/equipment: After Mr. Howarth confronts his son about the pills his daughter took, when Dixie walks up and tells him that he can see Monica, the actor's tape mark is visible on the floor, at Dixie's feet.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are working on freeing the man trapped in the vehicle, and then when they are taking his vitals, the outlines of the mic transmitters and wires (running up toward their shoulders) are visible on the back of Roy's and Johnny's shirts. Continuity mistake: When Christy walks into Station 51's kitchen, the bag strap is on her shoulder, but close-up it is gone, only to be back next shot when she removes it a moment later.
Continuity mistake: The shaving foam on DeSoto's face changes between the face-on shots and the reflection shots, and in the reflection he shaved from cheek to chin, but in face-on shots only to the neck.
Continuity mistake: Gage and DeSoto arrive at the apartment complex, home to the guy trapped in the couch. They park the vehicle and walk on the gated balcony to the apartment. In the exterior shot, when they enter the doorway the inside wall to their left is bare and the corner of the balcony's iron gate is to the doorway's left. Next interior shot, now there is a large painting on that previously bare wall and the iron gate is directly in front of the door. When they leave, their vehicle is farther away, positioned differently.
Audio problem: After helping the guy who was trapped in his sofa bed, Christy, Roy, and Johnny get back into the squad, and then we hear Johnny tell the dispatcher that Squad 51 is returning to quarters, but we see that Johnny's not actually saying anything.

Continuity mistake: When DeSoto and Gage are in the pool with the little girl whose arm is stuck in the drain, their shoes and pants are soaked. However, just after Gage gets off the Biophone, his shoes and pants are completely dry, and then when the pool has been mostly drained both DeSoto and Gage are dry.
