It then takes Scarlet Witch several seconds to save Quicksilver who was free-falling from the same cliff. Given how fast the hover craft pilot fell to the ground, Quicksilver also would have fallen to the ground before Scarlet Witch could have caught him. (00:16:50)

Revealing mistake: After the New Men have captured Magneto, Wolverine, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the establishing shot of the High Evolutionary's headquarters is a recycled shot of when Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver first arrived at his headquarters a few minutes earlier in the episode, played on a loop (note the lightning strikes and the High Evolutionary's pink energy field being repeated). After he is captured by the High Evolutionary, he is suddenly wearing his usual red and purple costume.
