Continuity mistake: In season 2, "The Anniversary Present," Lucy has the 19th circled on the wall calendar, which is the date of their wedding anniversary, but in this episode when the license bureau in Greenwich, Connecticut sends Ricky a telegram with their wedding date, it's now on the 7th.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy's locked out on the penthouse balcony, Ethel places the broom handle through the small round finger hole of the scissors, with the large oval finger hole to the right of the round hole and the blades pointing out, then holds the scissors in place as she puts the broom over the balcony rail. When Lucy retrieves them from the broom, the scissors have flipped over. The blades are pointing out and the broom handle is still through the small round finger hole, but now the large oval hole is to the left of the round hole. (Impossible to do on its own. Try it). Continuity mistake: The Mertz' check out of the hotel and are in the garage on a motorcycle. Later they are back in their hotel room with Fred napping in a chair with a hurt shoulder.
Suggested correction: Ethel and Fred checked out of room 317, intending to leave. Later, after their motorcycle crashed, Ethel and Fred checked back in and were given room 372 (time codes 00:09:05 and 00:12:15), so Fred (with his hurt shoulder) is napping in the chair in his and Ethel's new room. There's no continuity mistake.
The Ricardos Are Interviewed - S5-E7
Continuity mistake: When Ricky's new agent insults the apartment building Ricky explains that Fred and Ethel are their best friends, and we see Lucy drop the toy train onto the chair and take hold of the jack-in-the-box toy (in the crook of her left arm) with her right hand, but when it cuts to the closeup the toy train is back in Lucy's right hand and the jack-in-the-box toy is once again held in her left arm. Continuity mistake: When Ricky comes over to Lucy, Fred, and Ethel after he sings for the first time, his hands are by his sides. The shot changes his hand are now in his pockets.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy is talking about finding an undiscovered artist she is holding a French dictionary. The way she is holding the dictionary changes a couple of times.
Lucy Gets a Paris Gown - S5-E20
Continuity mistake: When Lucy and Ethel are sitting at the table at the cafe just before Ricky and Fred show up, Lucy starts to put her arms on the table. The shot changes and her arms are already on the table.
Return Home From Europe - S5-E26
Continuity mistake: As Lucy gets up from her airplane seat holding the big hunk of cheese wrapped in a blanket she is masking as a baby, it bends in half as if it were already cut. This is the scene before she sneaks off to the kitchen to cut it apart. In prior scenes, the cheese is intact and solid. (00:17:10)
Continuity mistake: After the song "Nobody loves the ump" the tiles that are stuck to Lucy's shoes disappear.

Continuity mistake: When Ricky comes home and and Lucy tells him she meet Orson Welles, Ricky shuts the door. Later on in the scene the door is suddenly open.

Little Ricky Gets Stage Fright - S6-E4
Continuity mistake: In the first 5 minutes of the episode, the necktie of Fred Mertz changes length several times. Sometimes it touches his belt, in other times, both ends are the same size. (00:02:00 - 00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: During the scene set in the boat there is no land seen, but in the shots outside the boat, the land is present. In the same scene Ricky is wearing a wide-collared shirt but in the location part, he is shown wearing a white T-shirt.
Continuity mistake: In this episode, Lucy goes out on the window ledge. In "Lucy Cries Wolf", the window ledge was very different: the walls were made of dark brick instead of concrete blocks, there was no downspout, and the ledge went into the corner and stopped, no continuation on the other wall.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Superman comes to Little Ricky's party Little Ricky has on a birthday hat. When Superman picks him up the hat is gone; it reappears when Superman gets ready to leave.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy buys back her coffee table, Ethel and Fred move it to the kitchen in the Mertz's apartment. The door to the Mertz's kitchen (with its doorknob on the right) in this episode opens the opposite way, inward towards the inside of the kitchen, and not outward in the direction of the living room, as seen in all previous and following episodes, including the very next episode. Suggested correction: The kitchen is a double hinged "saloon style" door. The door opens both ways, just like in a restaurant and most kitchens of the era. This is evident in many episodes.

This mistake is referring to the Mertz's apartment, and the door leading to their kitchen is a normal type door with a doorknob and it opens only one way. The mistake is perfectly valid.
Continuity mistake: In the episodes where Lucy and Ricky are Getting Ready to move to the country, there are shots in the Ricardos' bedroom that shows a wall on the right hand side of the room. In previous episodes, there was a window where the wall appears during the later 'moving to Connecticut' episodes.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy and Ricky are discussing the dance at the beginning of the episode and she turns away from him after she tells him "that's all there is to it," however in the next shot she is still facing towards him.
The Ricardos Dedicate a Statue - S6-E26
Continuity mistake: When Ricky is angry toward Lucy that Little Ricky's pet dog Fred has not learned to be obedient he threatens to return Fred to the dog pound where he says the Ricardos originally got him. However, in episode "6-12", Little Ricky Gets A Dog" Little Ricky admits to Lucy that he got Fred from one of his playmates whose dog had puppies.

Continuity mistake: When Fred the dog runs onto the couch with Ricky's speech he goes to the right side of the couch and puts his head under a pillow. The shot changes and he is now on the other side of the couch.
