Continuity mistake: The scene in episode Rock-a-Bye Bivalve where SpongeBob and Patrick start arguing about working for Junior at Patrick's house, SpongeBob is not inside the house. While SpongeBob is staring down at Patrick, his head is sticking out of the top of the hole in the ground. Once SpongeBob jumps in the top of the hole is way past their head.

Continuity mistake: When SpongeBob is locked out of his house, he digs a hole to try and get in. This hole doesn't exist the next morning.

Continuity mistake: In "Snowball Effect" when Squidward rips apart the "peace treaty" it is nothing but shreds on the ground. About ten shots later, the shreds disappear.

Continuity mistake: Graveyard Shift - Sometimes the kitchen walls are light green, and sometimes they are dark green.

Continuity mistake: When SpongeBob is showing Squidward the inside of the box, SpongeBob is seen closing the top of the box. But inside of the box, there is a close-up of SpongeBob and Patrick. You can see daylight so the box is obviously open.
As Seen on TV / Can You Spare a Dime? - S3-E5
Continuity mistake: When SpongeBob is making the patties at the end, he puts at least 20 patties on the grill. But just after he takes the buns out of the bag, there are now only 10 patties.
The Snowball Effect / One Krabs Trash - S3-E3
Continuity mistake: In "One Krab's Trash," after SpongeBob discovers the drinking hat at Mr. Krabs' yard sale, the two straws are connected to a cylinder with a hole. But when Mr. Krabs says "You were born to wear this hat!" the little cylinder has vanished. Later when SpongeBob is blowing bubbles, the cylinder has reappeared. (00:02:25 - 00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: When SpongeBob zaps the pickles, he is standing next to the door. He instantly moves to the center of the room in a subsequent shot.

Continuity mistake: After MermaidMan screams "To Make Out Reef" he accidentally falls over on his chair. When Patrick complains that they aren't gonna get pizza the chair is back up again.

Other mistake: One Krab's Trash: When Mr. Krabs sticks the ghost drawing in SpongeBob's window with the fishing rod, the shadow of the paper is visible on SpongeBob, but there is no shadow of the fishing line holding it up. (00:17:27)
