Character mistake: In "I Heart Dancing", the lady at the Krusty Krab tells Spongebob the dancing audition is the next day. Later, Spongebob is practicing at Squidward's house for a whole night, and the next morning Squidward says they have one more day to practice, even though the audition should have been that day.
Suggested correction: The audition could have been during the afternoon.
The Snowball Effect / One Krabs Trash - S3-E3
Character mistake: When Mr. Krabs sees the headstone, it says SmittyWerbenManJensen and not SmittyWerbenYaegerManJensen.
Jellyfishing / Plankton! - S1-E3
Character mistake: In "Plankton" when Spongebob is in Plankton's lab, he says the ingredients in a Krabby Patty. He doesn't mention the secret sauce.
Best Day Ever/The Gift of Gum - S4-E20
Character mistake: SpongeBob tries to steal the gum off his door at night. The next day, SpongeBob says that it was still Best Friends Day, so he would give Patrick his gum back. Really, it should have been the next day.
Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2
Character mistake: In "Squid's Day Off", a wide shot shows Mr. Krabs exiting the hospital, except the building says" ENEREENCY" instead of "EMERGENCY."
Spongebob's Last Stand - S7-E22
Character mistake: Near the end of the episode, the main characters are being introduced by SpongeBob; one of those characters is Sandy Cheeks, the name she has had for the entire show. However, SpongeBob addresses her as "Sandy Squirrel."
Welcome to the Chum Bucket / Frankendoodle - S3-E2
Character mistake: In 'Welcome to the Chum Bucket', Spongebob said he likes the grill facing the wall to the right. Plankton pushes it so that it is facing the wrong wall, the wall on the left.
The Snowball Effect / One Krabs Trash - S3-E3
Character mistake: In the beginning of "One Krabs Trash" Spongebob only has one bill in his hand, a 5 dollar bill. When he goes to his house and comes back, he says he found 68 cents. Therefore, he has 5 dollars and 68 cents. However, he has two dollar bills and a few pennies in his hand, which cannot be made into $5.68.
Help Wanted / Reef Blowers / Tea at the Treedome - S1-E2
Character mistake: In "Help Wanted", Stephen Hillenburg's name in the "Written By" section of the title card is incorrectly spelled as "Stephen Hilleburg."
Character mistake: In "Sandy's Nutty Nieces" SpongeBob gets thrown and flung at Sandy's treehouse, then when he falls down and Sandy opens the door, SpongeBob's shirt color changes. (00:01:25)
